About: From growing up with dogs to training my first puppy (not a certified trainer), dogs are best friends & family members. I’m here to help give you peace of mind while you are out on vacation, at a gathering, or at work. I work full time hours Monday through Friday. Typically free weekday mornings before 7:30AM, weekday evenings (at 4pm) and weekends all day. Weekends I’m typically out accompanying my dog while he lives his best life. It’s a dog’s world ! My dog is on a strict diet, takes medications and requires lots of exercise. I don’t mind walking, playing, feeding or administering medications to our friends. I have experience with dogs with various energy types and temperaments. I care and treat every dog like they are my own. Willing to send pictures of your dog(s) enjoying their best life !

“We were afraid to leave our 18 year old partially blind kitty who takes complicated medications when we embarked upon a long international trip with minimal opportunities for contact. Samantha was reassuring and kind, and her calm and confident manner put us at ease. We received videos and photos all the while we were overseas, and our shy senior cat fell in love with Samantha’s gentle manner. Samantha also managed our home during a tropical storm, and when we returned, our home was immaculate. I cannot imagine a better person to trust with your beloved pet and your home. Samantha is not only a most competent professional but she is warm, and compassionate, and very dear. We are forever grateful to her!”

“Melissa was great! This was my first Rover experience so I really had no idea what to expect but melissa went above and beyond my expectations! She put me at ease while she watched my babies and provided updates while I was away!”

“Brittany genuinely loves animals. She connected with my German Shepherd right away and she didn't just check care taking tasks off a list she took care of our 7 year old puppy while we were away. She was professional and easy to work with. We don't need a sitter very often but I'm sure there will be more Brittany in our future.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. The first dog I called mine was a miniature schnauzer named Poca. I got her when I was 5. I have had many dogs over the years, as well as cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, and other types of pets. I have worked at animal shelters for months of my life. I would feed animals, give them water, take them outside, help administer medicine, watch them in the yards, and just generally love on them. I also have experience working with wild animals at zoos. I have open availability for pet care services, as my main source of income is gig economy work. I am flexible, so no matter what you need, I can likely make it work. I make sure your pets always have access to fresh water, and depending on how your pets are usually fed, I can feed them on a schedule or set up free-feeding. I will also make sure they get plenty of attention.

About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.

“For the first time in our doggie's little life we had to find an outside sitter for her and we couldn't have been happier connecting with Karen ! She is professional and has a very calm demanor which put our puppy right at ease ! She provided constant communication, photos, and even her evaluation of how Cali was settling in with a new person in the house ... which made us feel even more confident in our decision to use Rover ! Thank you so much Miss Karen and Cali looks forward to seeing you again soon !!”

“This was our first time using Rover because our dog Champ is an older shepherd that is losing his ability to walk on his back legs. I am happy to report that we were over joyed that Kiara came in advance to meet Champ and get to know him. Champ took to Kiara right away which made us feel comfortable with having to leave him in her care. Kiara came in before we had to leave which made it less worry some for us. Kiara was very good at staying in touch with us as to how things were going and shared pictures with us as well. I would highly recommend Kiara and will definitely call upon her services again.”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time Veterinary Technician with a passion for animal care both in and out of the clinic. I have hands-on experience working with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I bring medical knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine compassion to every pet-sitting job. Whether your pet needs extra care, medication, or just a loving presence while you’re away, you can trust that they’ll be in safe, capable hands. I treat every pet like family—because they are. 🐾 As a full-time veterinary technician, I have a unique advantage when it comes to pet care. My schedule allows me the flexibility to either bring certain pets with me (when appropriate and permitted) or to stop in during my shift for walks, feeding, or medication visits. Because I’m close by and experienced in managing time around animal care, I’m able to check in on pets regularly and ensure they stay on their routine. I’m fully committed to providing dependable, attentive care, even on workdays. I respect your home and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions carefully. From feeding and walks to playtime and medication. I provide updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My veterinary background allows me to notice and respond quickly to any changes in behavior or health, so your pet is always in caring and capable hands.

“Samantha is very trustworthy, great with our husky. She was interested in knowing our pets personality, temperament, feeding schedule, walks I’ve never used a service like this and could not have been more pleased with the care given.”

“I was a little apprehensive about leaving my fur babies for 9 days, but Abigail put me completely at ease. She came over and did a meet and greet and was very attentive to the boys. While we were away, she kept in close contact and sent many pictures. When I got back, not only were the boys we'll taken care of, but my house was spotless! I will definitely be using Abigail again and would strongly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a sitter.”

About: What sets me apart is my energy, reliability, and heart! As a marathon runner, I can keep up with even the most energetic pups and provide long, engaging walks or runs and active play—perfect for high-energy dogs. As a teacher and coach, I’m incredibly patient, organized, and how to adapt to different needs—which helps me handle everything from playful puppies to older pets who need extra care and attention. I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family with someone. I’ll love and care for them like they’re my own! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! As a teacher and track coach, I have a structured schedule that allows me to plan ahead and give pets the attention they deserve. I’m an early riser thanks to marathon training, so morning feedings, walks, or playtime are easy for me to fit in. My evenings and weekends are often open, giving me plenty of time for drop-ins, snuggles, or longer visits. Any holiday break or extended weekend is often open as well! The summers are WIDE open since school is closed. I already care for my own two dogs and a cat, so adding more furry friends into my week is something I truly enjoy! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family. In my home, pets have a calm, safe environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles—plus two friendly dogs and a cat who love company. I maintain their routines as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, and cuddle time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, reliable, and follow all instructions closely. I make sure your pet feels comfortable, whether that means lots of play or giving them space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your furry friend is doing!

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

About: Hello, my name is Ashley. I am a little new to pet care but I am eager to get started! I have had dogs my whole life and have always helped out with them. I have pet sat a few times and administered medication. I currently have a 5 year old Labrador Retriever and watch my friends dogs a lot. I enjoy taking them to the beach and to the dog park very frequently. I have always been an animal lover. Any animal, any size! Though I don't yet have any professional experience, I hope to gain some. I did work at a pet store while I was in high school and learned a lot about pet health and caring for ill animals. I hope to be able to engage with your animals and build a relationship with them as well as you! Thank you! I’m currently working full time as a bartender. I typically work 3pm-11pm but my schedule does vary week to week. I can be pretty flexible with hours when necessary. I have a dog of my own that I take on walks or to the park every day! I do live in an apartment so I take my dog on walks daily or we will go to the dog park or on a trail nearby!
