I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, gerbils, and rabbits, giving me hands-on experience with both small pets and larger companions. With a flexible work schedule, I am able to provide in-home care 3 days a week uninterrupted and with a local home location, am able to check in on days in the office as well. Whether it’s daily check-ins, walks, or extended stays, I make sure every pet receives reliable, compassionate care as part of my regular routine—not as an afterthought. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether in my home or in my client’s home, to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health, and I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages. My home is equipped with 2 outdoor security cameras as well as a fully fenced in yard. In a client’s home, I respect the space while ensuring pets receive consistent care, enrichment, and companionship. In my home, pets are given a calm, safe environment with supervision, structured routines, and positive reinforcement. With my veterinary technician experience and animal care and dog training certifications, I’m able to administer medications, support training, care for puppies, and provide gentle, attentive care for senior pets. My goal is always to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

My evenings and weekends are often open, giving me plenty of time for drop-ins, snuggles, or longer visits. Any holiday break or extended weekend is often open as well! The summers are WIDE open since school is closed. I already care for my own two dogs and a cat, so adding more furry friends into my week is something I truly enjoy! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family. I maintain their routines as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, and cuddle time. About: I went through Pet Care Team Training and am Pet CPR Certified through Ashley's Animal Academy, LLC. My Siberian Husky, Sky, takes medication for her anxiety. I am familiar with administering medications and have gone through behavioral training lessons with her. Open availability January - this month!!! About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life! I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. From puppies to seniors, and everything in between, I can care for a wide range of needs. I am a current college senior, so I have plenty of time between classes to care for your pups. I also have early mornings and evenings free for more extensive care needs. I am very careful of your dog’s boundaries, needs, and quirks! I can enforce commands and corrections if necessary (trained commands, being crated, or outside time). I also have some experience with *minor* reactivity—specifically food and resource guarding. Your dog’s safety and trust is my number one priority; I learn their body language and I do not push boundaries!
