“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I’ve owned a variety of pets (turtles, dogs, cats, ducks, geese) for 35 years, & watched neighbors’ pets, caring, playing with, loving every minute! My husband (my high school sweetheart) and I live on our adorable 200 year old, 43 acre farm with trails to walk on, a large pond, several yards and fields to run in, and the coziest, clean farm house where there’s always a comfy spot to curl up in or a room to roam or play in. We 2 have older sons, one at Coastal Carolina University and one who lives at home while working day and night on his Landscape Business. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens. Our senior dog of 18 and our senior cat of 17 passed away last year, so we decided that it is now time to spread our love to new pets by opening our home up to new families. I have my masters degree in Speech Pathology, and I have worked with children for over 25 years, with my specific focus on young, special needs children. We will treat your pets as our own, caring, compassionate, fun, play, walk, clean up after, provide medicine if needed or treat any special need.

They range in age from 19 to 1, and have a variety of needs, including medication for an elderly cat and supervision of a recently hospitalized dog, with his younger, very exuberant "brother." Simone managed it all without difficult, and even gave attention to the less needy pets. She sent some adorable photos that I will definitely save. They tried different approaches and truly cared about making sure he was happy and settled. They made Togo feel completely at home, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay — Tim regularly shared updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us. We were very rude in that we didn't drop her off and pick her up on time. Fernando was very accommodating and kind to our change up! He sent us plenty of pictures and updates letting us know she was settling in and made sure she had eaten breakfast. He took our booking last minute and responded extremely quickly. He is a little higher than the other dog watchers but the peace of mind is worth it to me. 10/10 would book again. Suki comes back tired and happy!
