About: I raised my dog as a child for 15 years then raised another dog as an adult for 15 years. I cannot own a dog right now, so would love the opportunity to care for dogs again. I am back in central Jersey, taking care of my Mom full time, giving me available opportunity for dogs 24/7. I have no full nor part time job, so much much down time here. I have a large empty townhouse in central Jersey with only one other inhabitant-sweet adorable senior Mom. There is an outdoor patio and courtyard, that leads to the grounds of the community where there is a dog walk and plenty of green grass to run and walk on. We have a large empty room that I can play fetch with a dog, and throw a toy on a rainy day or anytime.

“Christie was wonderful with my dog. She is very patient and communicative. She provided regular updates on how Coco is doing which lessened my anxiety. I highly recommend Christie for anyone looking for exceptional dog care.”

“Kate is fantastic! My dog was physically relaxed even during the meet and greet and I could tell how sweet she was toward the dogs in her care. My dog is usually nervous and slightly upset at pickup but he’s been super chill leaving Kate’s!”

“Wonderful playday for our Penny! The caring attention that Kamud paid to Penny added to the great experience of running and socializing with her own fur-baby Kai. Nice fenced yard provided plenty of space to play to their hearts content which left Penny refreshed and ready for a great night sleep. Thank you Kamud for your special care of our PennyBear!!”

“Noria took the time to meet up with me the day prior to make sure my dog could meet her. She took great care of her, sent me pictures throughout the day, it was easy to tell my dog didn’t want to leave upon being picked up! Highly recommend her and would gladly book again.”

“Shirali was great with Holly. My dog has separation anxiety and it’s not easy for her being in new spaces. Shirali did what she could do to keep Holly calm and relaxed, even making sure her patio was open to her so she could go outside any time. Good communicator, sent lots of pics while she was there. Thank you so much.”

“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

Omeeta S.
“Omeeta and Chirayu are amazing pet sitters. I am writing to share my experience with them who took care of our beloved dog Casper for three days. In short, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a responsible and caring individuals to take care of their furry friend. From the moment we met, we could tell that they genuinely cared about our dog and were passionate about taking care of animals. They took the time to get to know our dog's routine, habits, and personality, which helped put us at ease knowing that our dog was in good hands. Throughout the three days, they kept us updated with daily texts, photos, and videos of our dog, which we greatly appreciated. It was evident that they were spending quality time with our dog and making sure he was happy and comfortable. They even went above and beyond by taking our dog on extra walks and playing with him in dog parks. When we returned home, we could tell that our dog had a great time and was well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable pet sitters. We will undoubtedly be using their services again in the future.”

We feel very lucky we found Andrew. We had to travel for an urgent family matter over the holidays. We had no idea how we were going to manage our dog who is older and has some anxiety. This was our first time using Rover. Andrew was wonderful with Cassidy. He took time approaching her and let her get comfortable. His three dogs were very nice and showed our dog around. There was a large fenced in yard for her bathroom breaks. Andrew sent us updates and photos durning her day care visits. We could see from the photos Cassidy was settling in and relaxing. We would not hesitate to leave our girl with Andrew again. We highly recommend Andrew for pet sitting.
