About: Besides working in the veterinary field as a certified veterinary assistant, I’ve had dogs and cats since I started walking back home in Puerto Rico. I was always rescuing all kinds of critters in the streets and finding them new homes. Big animals, small animals, shy animals, hyper animals, you name it! I've assisted anywhere from births to surgery, administered medications, vitals etc. Your furry friends are in good hands with me. I live on a ranch, so they’ll have plenty of space to run and play around while I also love taking them with me to explore the Black Hills trails. I’m currently dedicating my time to farm life while I wait for school to start in the fall, so I have all my time available to dedicate myself to your furry friends. I have a big farm of 18 acres with plenty of space to exercise your pups, also have enclosed areas available to offer them a safe and comfortable environment during their stay. But like I mentioned, I have all my time available so your furry friends will receive all my attention all day ❤️ It’s the perfect environment to keep them happy and stimulated while you’re gone. -Will do walks/hikes -Provide pictures/videos -Plenty of kisses & cuddles -Beeping color available if requested

About: For over two decades, I have dedicated my life to the world of dogs—both as a breeder and trainer. This journey has not only enriched my understanding of canine behavior but has also allowed me the unique privilege of connecting families with their furry companions. Living and working from home with my dogs has transformed my daily routine in delightful and rewarding ways. Incorporating pet care into my schedule not only keeps my furry companions happy and healthy but also brings structure to my day. As a certified professional dog trainer, AKC approved evaluator, and passionate dog breeder, my life has been an incredible journey that intertwines my love for dogs with my role as a mother of nine remarkable grown kids. For over 20 years, I have dedicated myself to understanding the canine world, helping both dogs and their owners cultivate strong, trusting relationships. From puppy training to advanced obedience, my approach is rooted in a balanced reinforcement, ensuring that learning is a joyful experience for my furry clients. As a Sniffspot host, I provide private, safe spaces where dogs can explore and engage their natural instincts, allowing them to thrive while enjoying supervised freedom. Watching dogs explore their environment brings me immense joy, knowing that they are experiencing life to the fullest. Raising nine children has certainly equipped me with a level of patience and adaptability that serves me well in dog training. Just like children, each dog is unique, with its own personality, quirks, and needs. My family dynamic has taught me valuable lessons in communication, empathy, and the importance of building trust, skills that directly translate to my work with dogs and their families. Whether it’s organizing community events to promote responsible dog ownership or sharing tips on social media, my goal is to inspire others to appreciate the bond between humans and dogs. I believe that with the right guidance and support, every dog can become a cherished companion, just as my children have grown into amazing adults. In both my professional and personal life, dogs have taught me invaluable lessons about loyalty, love, and the joy of living in the moment. They remind me every day to embrace life with enthusiasm and curiosity – qualities that I strive to instill in my children as well. Being a dog enthusiast means more than just training and breeding; it means celebrating the connections we foster with these incredible animals. As I continue this journey, I remain committed to nurturing the special bond between dogs and their families, just as I nurtured the bond with my own kids, encouraging them to chase their dreams and passions, whether on two legs or four.

“Couldn't be happier with Brooklyn. She has been a joy to have my dog be looked after by her. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Kari watched our two boxers for us for two days while we were in the area visiting. Her & her husband David took great care of our gals & they were both ready for long naps after playing with their pup Maui the past couple of days. If you are in need of a dog sitter I strongly recommend them.”

“Best Rover sitter we’ve had! Tara kept in touch the whole time and sent pictures so we didn’t have to miss our pooch so much. We could tell our pup had been well cared for and comfortable when we picked her up. Thank you Tara, you’re the best!”
