Bowen M.
“Bowen and I have been partners for the last 3 years caring for a variety of animals together including cats, dogs,a bunny, peacocks and our collection of reptiles. For the past year he has helped me with my pet sitting clients as well and we have done housesits together. He has a special affinity for dogs and lives to play and wrestle with them and go for long hikes finding treasures in the woods.”

Kim C.

“Kim was fantastic! My pup can sometimes have anxiety around new people and settings, but she had a great time with Kim and Akasha. Kim sent updates and adorable pics, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!”

About: I moved to northern New Mexico from the bay area of California a few years ago and I am interested in meeting new people (and animals) here in Taos and Tres Piedras. I have over 10 years professional experience in housekeeping and babysitting. I grew up with multiple pets in our home including several cats and a sweet golden retriever that my siblings and I shared in caring for. I also have experience caring for fish, birds and hamsters including their feeding and cleanup. I have had the responsibility of taking care of pets in the household I've worked in from walking, feeding, and outside time. I can be relied on to be punctual and communicative in regards to your animals. I look forward to hearing back from you and your pet! I currently work part time and from home so I can provide your pet with plenty of attention and frequent outdoor activity. I make sure the dogs have plenty of outside time and have a good ratio of rest and fun throughout the day. I have a friendly and playful red heeler that loves playing with other dogs and gets along with cats. I am always attentive to the pets to make sure they stay close and don't stray too far.

Alison B.
“Alison has always been wonderful with my pup. She's responsible, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator. She is also a dog owner with a well-behaved angel of her own. Her dog gets along great with mine and they have enjoyed many a walk together! I highly recommend Alison for all of your pet care needs.”

Niki & Jeffrey L.

“Nikki & Jeffrey we’re awesome! Super communicative and took great care of our 2 pups. Highly recommend!”

Chandra H.

“We were on vacation with our dog and wanted to go rafting. We were fortunate to find Chandra who took excellent care of of our pup for the day. She hadn’t been eating much since we had been traveling, but she ate while in Chandra’s care. I highly recommend Chandra and will definitely use again next time we’re in Taos! Thank you!!!!”

Jessie H.

“Jessie was more than we could have asked for! Very kind and relaxed. I think our little fur baby had a wonderful day with her new friend, Jessie! I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again when we are in Taos.”

Laura C.
“Laura is one of the most caring people I’ve ever met. She pays attention to things ( animals, plants, businesses, friends and family ) and they grow and thrive under her care. She also has a steel spine so she can train an unruly dog and bring out the best in it. She really enjoys spending time with dogs and learning about them.”

About: A lifelong animal lover, I will love your pets just like you do! I can drop by your place for a doggie visit, so your dogs can be let outside mid-day, and I can take them out for a good long walk, let them sniff around, handle their business, burn a few calories. I can give snacks, or feed as instructed, even brush or snuggle with dogs and with kitties too, in your home or mine! I even pick up poop with my handy dandy pooper scooper and clean litter boxes. ;) I volunteer with Stray Hearts and have completed Foster training, and walk dogs occasionally. I can board dogs at my place too, I'm located north of Questa in the small "town" of Cerro, close to the Wild Rivers Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. I'm flexible, schedule is usually wide open except for a few appointments or photo shoots. I retired from the Army in 2016, basically now a stay at home mom to a teenage boy, who also loves pets, and part time online student, (completing Bachelors in the next 3 months) and normally just volunteer with my church, Salvation Army, VFW Post 9516 and PTA. My family and I have 4 acres of fenced in yard, (gate will have to be closed at driveway for dogs to roam freely) but I have a small front courtyard which I can keep small dogs inside, with artificial grass for them to potty on and an extra large crate to use when they're ready to nap indoors. My family and I have a new baby puppy- Chocolate Lab named Bella, a super friendly 4-year old yellow lab named Gracie who just loves to play, and one 9-yr old tabby cat who is happy minding his own business: sleeping.
