I schedule time each morning and evening for walks, feeding, play, and check-ins, making sure every pet gets consistent attention, comfort, and care throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walking, and playtime at their usual times. I keep their space clean, provide plenty of affection and attention, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I respect that all animals are sensitive and have unique needs. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm environment with regular exercise, cozy rest areas, and presence to make sure they’re happy and healthy. About: Growing up on a farm, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from livestock to household pets. Today, I extend that care to my friends’ pets whenever they need support, looking after everything from dogs and cats to more unique companions like snakes and chickens. My lifelong connection to animals has given me the skills and intuition needed to ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a part-time web designer and content creator, I work primarily online, which allows me to maintain a highly flexible schedule. Since I set my own hours, I can easily accommodate pet care, always making time for dog walks, cat brushing, and any other needs. My adaptable routine ensures consistent and attentive care for all pets. I’ve had experience both welcoming pets into my home and house-sitting for others. I’m based in Taos, where there’s a fenced yard and access to great hikes nearby. If I stay at your home, you can expect it to be well-cared for, left clean, and I can also manage tasks like plant care as needed. NOTE for boarding: I do have a cat. Any visiting dogs must be cat-friendly and respect cat boundaries.

I have cared for dogs for over 20 years, from zoomie puppies to slow-moving seniors. I am comfortable administering medication and feeding whatever combo of kibble+/-wet food your pup enjoys. Belly rubs and nature walks are always on offer. All are welcome here. I am home full-time and am able to supervise, care for and play with the dogs throughout the day. We begin each morning with an early one to five mile hike depending on energy levels and weather. The remainder of the day is free time to play, nap, repeat. Meals are usually at 8am and 4pm. In our home: Your dog will have free range of our entire home and fully-fenced acre with access to fresh drinking water at all times. There are several dog beds and toys around the house. Our resident pup Poppy is happy to share! Note: My doggie day care rate covers up to six daytime hours (between 8am - 6pm). We can add more time (starting at +$20) so you don't have to rush doing fun human-only activities. Special requests are always welcome.

About: Hey everyone! I am Izzi! I am a remote personal assistant & because of this I have lots of flexible hours. Apart from loads of childcare experience & nannying for many families with pets ranging from dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, I also frequently house sit & pet sit in the area Philly suburb area! I am super easy going & very flexible, I love all animals & being outside in nature. I grew up with two HUGE amazing & cuddly Bernese mountain dogs. Marshall, who is still with my family, has a ton of health problems, so typically feed him special food, provide his medication & ear drops when my parents aren’t in town. They have a place in FL & the Bernese would just be too hot in that climate so can’t go down with them! I am extremely active and enjoy yoga, hiking, skiing and running! I joined Rover because I have ample free time & would love to spend it loving your furry friends! I typically have 1-2 remote meetings a day between 9:30-1pm ET. During these meetings though I can provide house sitting services. Before & after these meetings I have tons of free time. If you need super early pet care, late/overnight care, & even during the day I am mostly free! I grew up with 2 large berneses! One is still living with my parents, who split there time between PA/FL so I often take care of him. He has TONS of health issues. He gets special mix of wet and dry food w/ coconut oil each morning, daily allergy medication, & ear drops. I’ve had to administer different medications for him as well such as fever medicine. I typically roll this medication in some cheese & that’s how he gets it down! I am capable of any type of care for any animal such as feeding, walking, giving medication, taking to the vet, taking to the park etc. My roommate also has a Pitt mix & is in Vet school, so I occasionally feed & walk him for her when she is busy. He is very enthusiastic & strong so I can manage these types of dogs !

About: I am currently back in New Mexico visiting until the end of July and I am interested in meeting new people (and animals) here. I have over 15 years professional experience in housekeeping and babysitting. I grew up with multiple pets in our home including several cats and a sweet golden retriever that my siblings and I shared in caring for. I also have experience caring for fish, birds and hamsters including their feeding and cleanup. I have had the responsibility of taking care of pets in the household I've worked in from walking, feeding, and outside time. I can be relied on to be punctual and communicative in regards to your animals. I look forward to hearing back from you and your pet! I have a shop in town that I run during the day several days a week so I can provide your pet with plenty of attention and frequent outdoor activity. I've been around all types of animals my whole life and have always had a special way of communicating with them. I have a very calming energy that is very healing for the animals I care for. I’m very attentive to the animals needs and wants and can pick up on things intuitively that your pets are going through or experiencing. I also will get down and play with them and interact with them on a soul to soul level. I understand that your pets are part of your family and I treat them as such. I often get told I take care of people’s animals better than they do. I have a deep love for animals and I always share that love with the animals I care for. I'm well-versed in administrating medication, dog walking and grooming. I had a job as a pet groomer, so if your animal needs a bath and brush during our time together- you can add that to our time together. Please note, I don't do nail trims or coat trims- only bath and brush. I also have a special skill set of working with breeds that are picky eaters and have digestive issues such as Shih Tzus. My schedule is flexible as I currently work remotely so I have time to spend with your pet and show them the attention they need. I’m also an introvert and empath so I don’t spend long hours away from the pets I care for. I’d rather be playing or hanging out with animals any day of the week. I'm available for overnight pet sits, check ins as well as dog walking. I take care of pets in client’s home with the utmost respect and care as possible. I take responsibility of the pet and home as if they were my own. If there are instructions left for the pet I will follow them to a ‘T.’ I also have the ability to intuitively pick up on the pets cues of being anxious, uncomfortable, happy, sad and any emotion in between. I'm very attentive on dog walks, always scanning the area for cars, other dogs, stray dogs, and people. Your dogs safety is my highest priority.

About: I am a writer and thus would be mostly at home with your animals. I lost my own dog in recent years, and find that I do best when I have dogs and cats to look after. I love being interrupted by a dog asking for attention and play! Walking is a joy for me. I specialize in tuning in to what anxieties need clear support and confidence to help build successful interactions. I welcome caring for animals with special dietary or medication issues. To have the company of a senior dog or a puppy is something I really look forward to. I organize my working rhythms around pet care. I enjoy having my work broken up with odd tasks and interruptions from animals. In general, providing pet care generally makes me more productive in other areas of my life. I like having a set walking and feeding schedule, and then everything flows from there. My work is portable on my laptop, so as long as I can have a perch to work at, I can be present for animals in the spaces they are accustomed to having company in. I do house visits, walking, and home stays. I enjoy staying overnight with animals because we can tune into each other. I try to get a sense of how the animal parent interacts with and supports their animal through daily routine, and then try to replicate that routine. I pay close attention to what they animals are saying about what they need, and what brings about their contentment.
