About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life. I have had dogs and cats as pets and have taken care of both for other people. I currently have a one year old puppy who is very active, so we run/walk the trails daily. I’m happy to do long walks or daily check ins and I can do overnight sitting but my home is too small to have another dog overnight for multiple nights. I’m comfortable with puppies and older dogs. I’m located in Kings Beach and would like to stay within 10 miles. Currently on a career sabbatical. I’m doing freelance work now and would like to focus on pet sitting/walking. I’m available all day minus Sunday/Monday. As long as I have notice, I can be flexible with my schedule. As for pet sitting, I prefer to not have pets at my home overnight. I have a fenced yard, if I bring dogs to play here before going on a walk. Before booking with me, please provide your pets daily routine and any other information that is important for me to know about your pet.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

“We’ve used Audra a few times and could not be happier with the care she provided for our 2 cats. She communicated frequently and is very reliable. We would recommend her for in house care of your pets.”

“Mariah was so attentive and took extra care with my cat and bird. It was such a good experience to know that she was watching after them while I was away. I highly recommend her and will request her in the future. Thank you, Mariah!”

About: I grew up in Tahoe and love all the wildlife and nature! My grandparents founded one of Oregon’s first canine-crisis-response therapy dog organizations, inspiring my lifelong passion for animals. I’ve raised two Portuguese water dogs and a cat named Merlin. I’ve volunteered at shelters, and studied the human-canine bond in college. Now I’m preparing for med school so I’m looking to help support myself by combining my passion for animals and care! Animals have always been a part of my life that brings me peace and contentment. Being able to care for animals brings me happiness while I study for the MCAT and save money to support myself through med school. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have cared for a wide range of temperaments. I take time to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs, adjusting my approach accordingly. Whether a dog needs gentle encouragement, extra training, or space and patience, I can adapt quickly to meet their needs. I always listen closely to the owner’s preferences and concerns, making sure my care aligns with their routines, boundaries, and goals. I understand how hard it can be to be away from your pet and I’m here to help!

About: I bring a calm, loving presence and truly enjoy bonding with each dog I care for. While I don’t have a pup of my own right now, I’ve helped friends and family with dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors. I live an active lifestyle and love getting outside for long walks, hikes, or just some playful fetch time. I’m detail-oriented, patient, and treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every step of the way. I have a flexible schedule and love making time for pet care throughout the week. I'm available for morning walks, midday visits, evening care—and I’m also happy to help on weekends or with overnight stays. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m excited to make it a regular part of my routine. I treat every pet’s safety and comfort as a top priority. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all care instructions closely—from feeding schedules to leash routines. I live in the mountains, so dogs in my care have access to peaceful trails and plenty of space to explore safely. Whether at your home or mine, I create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for.
“Holly was very attentive and caring with Apollo and consistently sent over updates and cute pictures! I felt at ease with leaving Apollo in her care as I was away on some work trips.”

“Emma was able to visit with our kitty over the holidays and was awesome - Fran loved her. It was last minute and she was so flexible with my busy schedule. We will definitely book again in the future!”

I've experienced caring for many different pets and I understand there unique personalities and needs. With me you can trust that your pet will be in good hands and get all the attention and happiness that they deserve! I'm currently taking classes at Cuesta college so the best time for me to care for your pet is Friday-Sunday or on Monday's and Wednesdays. Count on me to provide a range of dedicated services for your pets. From invigorating walks to ensure they get their exercise and fresh air, to ensuring they're well-fed and content, I've got all aspects of their care covered. About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and often cared for neighbors' pets when they were away. I no longer have pets of my own, so I love to spend time with friends' pets and take their dogs on adventures. They always come back tired and happy! I've cared for animals with special dietary and medicinal needs, and I'm good at making friends with shy animals. I would love to meet your pet! I work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Unfortunately I am unable to visit your pet in the middle of these hours, so if they can't be alone for 8-9 hours, i encourage you to look for a sitter who better fits your needs. Sorry for the inconvenience! I can't bring your pet to my home due to my roommates' 3 cats, but I am happy to make sure your pet can maintain their normal routine in your home, so they can stay fit, happy, and healthy.

About: Hello! I am Colleen and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 month old puppy who is the sweetest, chillest pup in the world and LOVES other dogs. I also didn’t go out for the first few months since I felt too guilty to leave him overnight + I couldn’t find someone who stayed up late enough for me to just go to dinner or a concert and pick him up after. I’m currently between jobs, so felt like I could help address that gap! I’m happy to watch your pup for a few hours or for a few days and promise to send a ton of pics of them! If you have a pup, Vino is great for socialization efforts as he’s super playful but will also be submissive and lay on his back if there are shyer dogs. He’s also great at showing his friends there’s nothing to worry about. (Ie- my parents couldn’t take their dog to restaurants bc he was so out of sorts. Vino showed him how to just relax and get those belly rubs in ~1 hr). So, let me know if there’s anything he add to the experience! I have a very large roofdeck that dogs love running around and also plenty of time to walk them and take them on adventures. I stay up late and get up early, so pick up and drop off is at your convenience! We usually start the day with a long walk and then head up to the roof for coffee and bird watching. I’ve had blind senior dogs who needed injections and puppies who needed love every 5 minutes and am happy to cater to your individual dogs needs!

About: Long time pet owner and animal lover! I have experience with dogs and cats of all stages, including high energy breed (Huskies/German Shepherds/Labradors) puppies in the training phase to geriatric, special needs, and aggressive dogs. I adopted a Senior dog and cared for him through his golden years. In his old age, he was no longer comfortable with other dogs, became reactive, and needed special health care before he passed. I understand that certain dogs need more tailored care and I would love to provide that! For the past several years I've done in-home cat sitting for cats of all stages. I've taken care of special needs cats including geriatric and terminally ill that required medication administration, syringe feeding, and extra love and comforting. I have extensive experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and all activity levels. I love taking dogs on hikes and giving lots of pets! I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. Typically I'm in a few meetings in the morning and my afternoons are open for longer walks or hikes. I have a fully fenced back yard with a very walker friendly neighborhood with sidewalks. I have a large open floor plan where animals are welcome throughout. I'm happy to let furry friends throughout my house or I can accommodate crating needs.

About: I have always loved animals. We had several dogs and cats while I was growing up and I have had my own dog, Luna, since I graduated college. I work full time but have lots of flexibility throughout the day. I take my own dog on at least 2 walks each day that are an hour each. My dog is very friendly and gets along with dogs and cats. If staying in your home I will need to bring her along. She loves playing with friends.

“I have known Cindy for several years now. I find her to be an extremely dependable and responsible person and always having a postive attitude. She is also, always willing to help me out with my dogs no matter what the situation might be. She has cared for several of my dogs over the years. Whether they have been puppies who need a little extra attention or elderly dogs who need a lot of extra attention, I found her to be very patient and caring for my pets. My dogs especially love it when she takes the time to play with them and all their favorite toys. They run up to her every time she comes because they know it is time for fun! They really love going on long walks with her!! When I come home from a long day of work, it's nice to know that my dogs were well taken care of.. they are very happy and content. I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone who's interested in pet care!!!”

“I'm really happy I found Mica, she is responsible, sweet and trustworthy, my dogs Luna and Roy love her. Highly recommended, your babies will be in good hands.”

Alexander F.
“Alex has been an animal lover ever since he was old enough to be aware of them. From the time he was a young child and introduced to our dogs and cats, he treated them with unusual care and affection. As an older child, when his family finally got their own dog, Stormy, a Portuguese Water Dog, he not only helped his parents with taking care of her with feeding, walks, etc., he also was very involved in training her. When he was in high school, he volunteered for the Lake Tahoe Humane Society to care for their shelter animals. Alex, now a recent graduate from college with honors, is an extremely responsible, kind, trustworthy young man who with his prior experience and ongoing enthusiasm for nurturing his and others' pets, would be great at dog or cat-sitting.”

“From the moment our pup Baxter met Lindsey, he immediately fell in love with her. She has a natural connection with dogs - so much so they just naturally gravitate towards her. Lindsey has always been our first choice in asking for someone to watch Bax, and I'm so happy other pups on Rover are going to be able to experience her love!”
