About: I’ve taken care of pets for years and grew up around them. I love animals and am glad to take care of them while their owners are busy. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them come to me and smell me to get used to me. I can walk them, and put them back in their crate.

About: I have taken dog training classes at the local animal shelter. I offer puppies plenty of time for teething tug-of-war and have tons of patience with the geriatric slow walkers. I work part time, close to home, which offers plenty of time for dog walking, drop ins and over night care. My hours are flexible. I would keep your dog safe on a leash and have a large crate if that would help them feel secure in a different environment.

About: I have an almost 3 year old White Swiss Shepherd dog who is very social and wants to come on walks with your dog! I love dogs and nothing makes me happier than getting social time for mine. I personally trained my dog to do many charming tricks (like play dead!) and would love to help teach yours too! My dog is great with other dogs of all sizes including puppies as long as they are not aggressive. I work part time and remotely so am flexible for last minute bookings. I’m often out on walks with my own dog and would love to take yours out with us. My dog loves to get a lot of exercise and I’m happy to give your high energy dog a lot of play and walk time with mine! I will come to your neighborhood or house where it’s most convenient to watch or walk your dog. My dog is very well behaved and social with other dogs.

About: I grew up in Tahoe and love all the wildlife and nature! My grandparents founded one of Oregon’s first canine-crisis-response therapy dog organizations, inspiring my lifelong passion for animals. I’ve raised two Portuguese water dogs and a cat named Merlin. I’ve volunteered at shelters, and studied the human-canine bond in college. Now I’m preparing for med school so I’m looking to help support myself by combining my passion for animals and care! Animals have always been a part of my life that brings me peace and contentment. Being able to care for animals brings me happiness while I study for the MCAT and save money to support myself through med school. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have cared for a wide range of temperaments. I take time to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs, adjusting my approach accordingly. Whether a dog needs gentle encouragement, extra training, or space and patience, I can adapt quickly to meet their needs. About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I watch a lot of my friends dogs when they go away and always make sure they are happy, fed, and included on adventures. I have experience taking dogs trail running, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. I currently work as a trail guide with horses part time. If your pet is okay being around horses, they can come to work with me. They do have to be in a kennel or tied up while there are guests, but they would be let out and walked multiple times throughout the day. On days I’m not working, your pet will be with me all day, whether it’s hiking, biking, or running! I typically don’t work on Tuesdays and weekends. I live on a quiet back road with a big yard. There is not a fence. My neighbor has a friendly yellow lab that we often take for walks and care for as well. There is a big trail system behind my house and I often take dogs up there for exercise. Inside the house, I am always open to having a dog on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. I am not a partier and am an early morning person. Your dog will be sure to get a morning and evening walk at the minimum. The dogs I walk usually come for any adventure with me, but if you have a senior dog that just needs a place to hang out and be loved on, that’s fine too!

About: I’m the go-to pet sitter (aka auntie) for friends when they leave town because they know that while they’re on their trip, instead of feeling guilty for leaving, they can trust their pets will be having too much fun with me to miss them too much. I’m the kind of pet-sitter that will let your beloved dog or cat cuddle me every night, make them sweet potato and peanut butter treats, and take the few minutes to practice tricks and develop training at the beginning of every walk to build trust, rapport, and skills. I love getting to see each pet’s quirks come out as we get to know eachother, and have fallen in love with every pet I’ve had the privilege of hanging out with, from older curmudgeons to mischievous rescues. I work from home and love to be active, so I’ll leave the doors open and be around for daytime company, cuddle breaks on the couch, toy time, and escaping to the beach or mountains to explore the wild together once I'm off the clock. I have a fenced backyard and often leave the studio door open during the day so dogs can easily go out to pee as needed, in a secure enclosure. I can only accept 2 dogs at a time for boarding/day care, so you can rest assured your sweet pup is getting lots of care and attention! I value building trust with pets over time, and see each new character as beloved member of a family that deserves to be given the space, love, and respect to thrive in their unique self-expression. I receive ongoing education in collaborative, trust-based training and communication techniques, and am skillful at using them instead of harsh, dominance-based techniques (while still remaining the firm leader and maintaining safety and order).
