About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. We have raised our girls with many pets including: chickens, bunnies, several foster and adopted dogs, and rescuing cats that would have been euthanized to live on our farm. We have 1 acre of fully fenced yard in a cozy community. We recently had to put down our sweet pit bull and are looking to opening up our homes to care for others pets at this time. We have a lot of love to give and would appreciate your consideration. I work from home so I am available all day and night excluding of course picking up kids and family activities. We have 4 daughters, 2 of which have graduated high school and in college, 1 going into high school and a 9 year old. They have all had extensive experience with many animals and been involved with agriculture in their middle and high schools. We presently have 2 cats (one of which is fully outdoor and one that comes in at night to sleep). We understand that many individuals have cats that are fully indoor and we have ample space, beds and furniture for your cat to feel comfortable. We are also BIG dog people and missing our sweet pit bull. We have a great neighborhood for taking walks, a 1 acre fully fenced yard for running and playing in. We will keep all cats indoors at all times. We will have any animals that stay with us in our home at night and have dogs go out frequently to play.
“Copper had lots of fun! They sent me tons of videos of him playing all day long. He was definitely tired when we got home! I will definitely be using them again for daycare!”
“What a great family we had watching our pups today! Jack and Scout had a fabulous time getting all kinds of love and attention, the enclosed backyard was fantasticly huge, and our dogs were instantly comfortable with the people and the space. Darylee and I had great communication from start to finish. This was a great experience for our first time using a Rover!”

“Todd & Bill have been amazing watching our 4 month old puppy Molly. Always reliable and sending updates during the day. Always feel safe with her in their hands. Highly recommend their care!!”

“Renea and her family are the best! Everyone was so kind and welcoming to my pup Nya and made her feel right at home. It was my first time using this service and the pictures she sent throughout the day let me know that Nya was being loved and having a great time. I highly recommend her for daycare or overnights. Thank you Renae!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while following each pet’s routine closely. I am comfortable administering basic medications, caring for senior dogs, and helping puppies with consistency and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to provide dedicated attention throughout the day. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and exercise routines. I always ensure pets are secure during walks and supervised during playtime. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain a calm, clean environment so pets feel comfortable and relaxed while receiving the care and attention they deserve.
“Corinne and Christopher took great care of our Lola! They helped us out last minute and were super flexible with our pick up time due to the fact that we were moving. They are super nice and loved having her. We are super happy we found them and will definitely have them watch Lola for us anytime they want to!”

“My little man Brady absolutely loved his time with Lucy and Stella. Huge thanks to Taylor and Andrew I can’t say enough good things! Being able to be absent without the stress of his well being is priceless. This was our first time using Rover and couldn’t be happier. We will absolutely be back sooner than later!”

“Marta is a great sitter for our pup, making sure that he feels safe and comfortable. She sends lots of picture updates as well, which is nice. We feel confident leaving our dog with her.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
