Doggy Day Care in Rainier

About: I have had dogs and cats nearly all of my 36 years. I have experience with walking and caring for dogs from 5 lbs to 150 lbs. I currently have a beautiful male pit bull boxer mix that loves other dogs as well. My children, ages 4 years and 9 years both love animals and would love to play with your pets! I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy going for walks. As a stay at home mother I am glad to earn some income while easing the stresses of having to be away from your pets while working or travelling. Please contact me with any questions you may have so I can start helping you and your pets today! As a stay at home mom I am quite flexible. Other than drop off and pick up times for school I am open and free. I am always cautious with new animals and slow to introduce my pets to yours if it becomes necessary. Taking cues from the animals and soft confident speech are the way to go.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. From high energy terriers and pointers to relaxed Labradors. I currently am the proud owner of two Cocker Spaniels, Moon and Minnow. If you're dog doesn't like the company of other dogs, I am happy to take them on a private nature walk or stay in the safety of our fenced yard. We are a work from couple, with atleast one of us at the house at all times. My partner and I work remotely full time. We enjoy taking our dog Moon on a morning, lunch, and evening walk or run each day. We enjoy a spacious home with a fenced in yard. The ground floor provides lots of indoor space and hardwood floors that are easy to clean up from mud to accidents. If you're pet is accustomed to being on furniture, don't worry that is fine with us too!

I have volunteered at shelters with scared dogs large and small, fostered and trained shelter puppies, was a babysitter for puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and served client families as a professional pet sitter. My role for others' fur babies is to provide care so that they have their needs met in their parents' absence. I am a great surrogate parent! I like to keep dog routines continued to minimize stress on pets and their people. For parents that don't have the time or for dogs that can use additional exercise, I can take dogs out for walks. I have also been a cat mom of 4 at once and love cats too! I have my dog, Brodie, and my routine revolves around him. I make sure he gets the memtal and physical stimulation and exercise he needs to be healthy and happy. I want to help my clients and pets with this as well for their families. I have a fenced yard and very dog-friendly set up at home. At client's homes, I respect the space and help pets feel secure in their routines with attention and care.

About: We're two proud dog moms based in Baltimore City with a deep love for pups of all kinds! We've spent years walking, boarding, and caring for dogs in our neighborhood, often hosting overnight stays so our sweet 4-year-old girl Poppy can have a playmate. Poppy loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to welcome your dog into our home—though she insists on a quick meet-and-greet first (just to make sure it’s love at first sniff). We’ve also cared for dogs long-term, including a full month with an energetic one-year-old, so we’re ready for anything. While we’re new to Rover, we’ve got plenty of off-the-record experience and can’t wait to officially join the community! Pet care fits naturally into our daily lives—one of us works from home full-time, so there's usually someone around for walks, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. The other works evenings and most weekends but is free during weekday mornings, which means we're flexible for pickups, drop-offs, and mid-morning strolls. We're also home most weekends, including holiday weekends. Between the two of us, your dog will get lots of love, attention, and care around the clock. When we board dogs in our home, we focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. We typically feed visiting pups separately just to avoid any tummy troubles or food-related tension. We're happy to follow your preferences when it comes to sleeping arrangements; Poppy usually snoozes in bed with us or on the couch downstairs, so we’re flexible depending on what makes your dog feel at home. We’re generally homebodies who love cozy evenings with our dog, but Poppy is also an adventurer—she is a regular at Patterson Park, Checkerspot Brewery, Ovenbird Bakery, and occasionally Downs Dog Beach or nearby hikes. If your pup enjoys outings, we'd love to bring them along—but if they prefer a more relaxed pace, we’re just as happy snuggling up on the couch.
