Highly-rated overnight sitters - Rainier
“David’s place was like a home away from home for our two dogs. They have different needs and personalities and David was an excellent caretaker for both of them. I hope to be able to have them visit again!”

“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

“Jerrie is the best!! She is loving and kind. She maintains communication with text messages and photos of the dog while in her care. Our dog, Hazel, loves to be with her and enjoys the atmosphere. We felt at peace while on vacation knowing Jerrie was caring for Hazel as if her own.”

“They treated our dogs great. Couldn’t be happier. Nice house with a small back yard. Friendly resident dogs. Maren and Jonathan are dog lovers. We will use them again. We enjoyed some pictures of our happy dogs while we were away.”

“Amanda was excellent taking care of our dog Ollie. She was very communicative and flexible with arrangements. Also sent me many updates of how he was doing and pictures. We will definitely be using Amanda again.”

“Pamela was very attentive to Willy’s needs. She kept us informed in our absence. Willy seemed very happy which means he enjoyed his stay with Pamela and her furry friends!”

“Margaret was a great sitter for our dog Xena. She was responsive, polite, and provided regular updates during Xena's boarding. Xena typically takes a bit to get comfortable, but was quick to integrate with Margaret's dog Mochi. They quickly became best friends and she was clearly enjoying her stay. Thanks Margaret!”

“Darby is the best. The safety and security of our fur-babies is never in question while with her. You won’t find a more competent and caring person to care for your pet.”

“Kristin was a great sitter. She gave Josie Jo lots of love and attention and her little dog became Josie’s good friend. She sent photos and videos which made my day. I will definitely ask Kristen to care for Josie Jo again when I travel.”

“John was great with our shy pup, Bear. The photos and updates were wonderful. He was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and immediately put me at ease knowing he’s a long-time dog person. Our pup was exhausted when we got home so he got plenty of walks and all the fetch he could have wanted. I will gladly reach out to John again in the future!”

“We are so thankful for Diahann and her family! I was a nervous mom dropping off our baby for the first time for a few nights away - I was convinced he would not sleep or eat! HA! Night one he slept perfect. Played a ton with new puppy friends. Ate just fine! Diahann kept me informed constantly with videos, pics, and messages. I knew he was in good hands and having so much fun. So happy we found a wonderful family to care for him when we are gone! I’m sure I’ll have to bring him over for daycare plays because he will miss it!”

“Our dog Murphy always loves Marlena’s house. Treated like part of the family, she gives her lots of cuddles, treats and outdoor time. She’s often home and spends time making sure all the dogs play well together.”

“Our dog Odin loved his stay at Tonya's. He was definitely from all the fun with the other dogs. We don't trust many people with our pups. Tonyas great communication helped put us at ease being away from our boy. We will definitely reached back out for cars.”
“Leanne was very professional. Before Finn’s overnight, we had a meet and greet. She had a form for his needs and information. Finn has anxious behaviors, so she asked many questions to make sure his stay was comfortable when he stayed. When Finn had his overnight, she sent multiple updates with pictures. She had toys for finn that he loved and he loved relaxing on her couch. It was a home away from home. We’re very grateful it went so well.”

“Annmarie did a fantastic job taking care of our 3 month old fur baby!. Her communication while watching our fur baby was great and we appreciated receiving pictures of her playing and getting all the cuddles. We will absolutly book Annmarie for any future dog sitter needs and highly recomend her!!.”

“Julie was great! She followed directions super well and kept in contact to make sure she got everything needed! I loved the little notes she left in the app telling me about what he did when she was there. Would definitely book her again!”

“Ashley took such great care of my three cats! She was very on time for our scheduled drop ins, extremely communicative, and genuinely cared for my cats’ well being. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Sarah was amazing! She went above and beyond caring for my cats. So nice to have someone you can trust in your home and take excellent care of your babies. Thank you Sarah!”

About: I been fostering kittens for two years with my partner, including bottle-feeding newborns, caring for young or special needs litters, and administering medications. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and animal care. I also have experience house-sitting for both cats and dogs through the Rover app, making sure pets stay happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and always treat them like my own.
“Samantha did a great job dropping in on our two cats. I was able to enjoy my trip so much better knowing the cats were in good hands. She sent tons of photos every day and spent quality time playing with them.”

“Once again, Sara did a great job. She made sure to go through our requests and complete as much as she could in the limited time that we had booked (my mistake; I underestimated the time needed). She prioritized our girls' social enrichment and their feeding schedules. She's a wonderful communicator and really takes care of our fur babies as if they're her own. As well as getting the *best* photos of any pet she's taking care of. Sara makes great decisions about our pets' health and care when we're unreachable, and she left our home cleaner than when she arrived (our cats are messy eaters, lol). I always greatly appreciate the effort and love she puts into caring for our beloved girls.”

“Brian did a great job checking in on our dogs! We were gone on a day trip and just need someone to stop bye and let the dogs out. He handled them very well, took pictures and let us know everything was okay. We will definitely we reaching out in the future 💗”

“Ruby was very kind and responsive the entire time we communicated. She brought up safety precautions during our meet & greet and was overall excellent to work with. My cat Jula was well taken care of by Ruby and I will definitely be rebooking in the future”

“I can always rely on Stephanie to take great care of my pets while I’m away. Stephanie is very caring and my cats love the visits. Great communicator, love the pictures! Thanks Stephanie!”

“Madisyn was very detailed oriented and responded properly to any communications from me. She did a perfect job of taking care of my two cats, including managing my asthmatic cat’s medication. I won’thesitate to use her again.”

“Lisa definitely lived up to the other glowing reviews. She visited our house daily to feed, water and take care of the litter box for our two cats. She is reliable and even made friends with our often-shy Siamese kitty. We appreciated the daily pictures and reports cards while we were away on our week-long trip. We would highly recommend Lisa for your away pet-sitting needs! Hopefully she will still be providing here excellent services the next time we take a trip to visit family.”

“Tiffany & Tiara are great sitters! We could tell our pets were well cared for and had a great time! This was our first time using Rover and they helped us understand the process and put us at ease. Highly recommend having these two for your pet needs.”

“Darby was wonderful - willing to work with my janky schedule on extremely short notice over the holidays and come take care of my cats. Not only that, but when there was a power outage she noticed that the house was cooler than usual and she made sure things kicked back on so my kitties didn't freeze. If you're still on the fence for who to call for your pets, she's the one!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Rainier
About: I have had dogs and cats nearly all of my 36 years. I have experience with walking and caring for dogs from 5 lbs to 150 lbs. I currently have a beautiful male pit bull boxer mix that loves other dogs as well. My children, ages 4 years and 9 years both love animals and would love to play with your pets! I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy going for walks. As a stay at home mother I am glad to earn some income while easing the stresses of having to be away from your pets while working or travelling. Please contact me with any questions you may have so I can start helping you and your pets today! As a stay at home mom I am quite flexible. Other than drop off and pick up times for school I am open and free. I am always cautious with new animals and slow to introduce my pets to yours if it becomes necessary. Taking cues from the animals and soft confident speech are the way to go.
“I really appreciate Darby's stance on dominance upon arrival, she deals with no bull! And I felt my pup was secure during her daily visits at Darbys home, with walks and suitable interaction with other pups at her home, I had no complaints. My pup was fed her meals as requested and Darby went the extent to clean the containers I brougjt homemade meals in for feeding, so I hadnt needed to worry about that after a long day! I respect Darby's stance even if off stanish to start.”

“Our 3 babies had their first visit with Miss Rachel today and it went amazing. They seemed happy and well taken care of. We’re already scheduling for another day next week. Miss Rachel seems very sweet and her family all were involved as well. Thanks Miss Rachel. See you again soon”

“Steffi is super sweet and treated my dog Honey with the love and respect any dog mom would want for their fur baby! Steffi would send me photos and videos to update me on Honey’s status, which was very reassuring. Despite having separation anxiety, Honey seemed to really enjoy her stay with Steffi! I’d highly recommend Steffi to anyone.”
“Alison is our favorite dog sitter. She is very responsible, great with communication, really takes the time to understand our dog’s needs. She works from home but always takes time to take our dog out for walks or play with her. You can really tell she loves dogs. We couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Michael was very pleasant to work with for dog sitting! I also appreciated that he accepted the booking the day before my early appointment, and that he sent picture updates throughout the day.”

“We had a really great experience! Jett & Denver were well taken care of, and it was obvious they were happy. We got tons of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. They were also super accommodating to our pets’ needs, which made everything so much easier. Will definitely book again!”

“We were very happy with our dogs care with Pamela. Our dog got the attention and activity with other dogs that he needed while we were gone for a day. And he was tired and happy when we picked him up 😀 It was nice to receive pictures thruout the day too! Will definately use Pamela's services again for our pup!”

“I highly recommend Sonia for all your dog needs. She put my anxious mom self and anxious dog at ease. My dog came home happy and tired after doggy day care. Thank you !!”

“Jennifer understands dogs and dog behavior at an expert level. Our 4 year old Springer had a terrific time with her. We will book with her again. She is very easy to reach during the day and provides frequent pic updates.”

About: I am a work from home mom with 4 kids, who will love to play with your pouch! Your dog will always be entertained and given loving attention. Our family dog passed away recently and our kids are really looking forward to having your dog(s) to love and care for, while you are away. Pet sitting is the perfect opportunity for them to engage, while being comforted by their loss. I have experience with xtra large dogs, bathing, and administering medicine. Our last dog was very high need: anxiety, food allergies, dermatitis issues, etc. He required so much attention that has prepared me to adapt to the pet sitting role! I have a large fully fenced yard your pooch can freely explore and welcome anywhere in the home. I can provide a warm snuggly bed or a quiet area if needed.
“Hi Scott, Thank you so much to you and your family! You were all awesome and took care of Olive as if she were part of the family. She felt right at home from the very first day, and the atmosphere in your home was incredibly welcoming. We truly appreciate everything you did.”

“Outstanding and fun care. Great communication and I picked up a happy, tired pup. Excellent fenced yard and shade for 'galloping' and rest. Sitter's dog and mine were compatible. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Rainier
“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

“Clair is great! She follows instructions, walked at Mo’s pace, and took care of him like I would. I booked longer because my dog(Mo) is a slow walker. She fed him, made sure his water bowls had fresh water and also gave him just supplements when needed, and treat. Will user her services in the future again!”

“So happy Julie was available to walk our pups. We look forward to booking with her again. She sent a photo of the pups and texted me before and after the walks. We Highly recommend Julie.”

About: I’ve taken care of family and neighborhood pets since I was in middle school and people in my neighborhood have come to rely on me to check in on their pets regularly. I am also an Animal Sciences student studying at Oregon State University (but I’m home for the summer in the Olympia area!) hoping to become a veterinarian and have worked in some clinical settings, so I have a bit of a background in veterinary medicine to give your pets the best care! I’m currently shadowing at a veterinary clinic three days a week but other than that I’m widely available to take care of your pets! I generally shadow Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (but days may change) from 8-5:30, but I have a lunch break from 12-2 every day and am able to let pets out mid day! Other than that I am largely available most other days! I treat every client's home with the same care and respect as my own. I carefully follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved while you're away, keep your home clean and secure, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and stress-free in the environment they know best.

I also have experience house-sitting for both cats and dogs through the Rover app, making sure pets stay happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m comfortable managing tasks around my schedule and always prioritize making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, especially kittens I’m fostering, I provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. I make sure they get plenty of social interaction and gentle handling to help them thrive. I also monitor their health closely and keep their space sanitized to prevent illness. When caring for pets in a client’s home through house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, medication, exercise, or playtime. I treat their home and pets with respect, maintaining the usual environment to keep pets comfortable and stress free. About: Juggling full-time studies and dedicated dog mom duties to German Shepard Stryker and rescue Doberman Luna. I’ve been raised with dogs and cats since childhood. As the go-to for family and friends in need of pet sitting, my reputation stands strong. I tend to spoil all the fur babies. Experienced with various breeds, adept at overcoming training and behavioral challenges. Your fur babies aren't just pets; they're family. Trust me to provide not just a service but a personalized, loving experience for your cherished family members. Your peace of mind, their wagging adventures. FYI the reason my rates are higher than expected is Rover takes out a big chunk. I have recently taken on an apprentice to take over my overflow of clients. If I’m unavailable for the dates you need, please message me and I can ask if she’s available. It’ll be at the same price rate, until she raises her rates. She really is great! Because of gas prices and time, travel outside of 10 mile/20 minute radius from home/Yelm will be charged travel cost per visit/day. As a dog mom myself, I understand the concern of leaving pets alone while at work. Offering dog walks, potty break, and house sitting in Thurston County and surrounding areas. My schedule is open all week Sunday-Saturday depending on availability. Reach out to schedule a meet and greet! I will not be offering stays at my house, but I can do house sitting. For house sitting please message me what dates/time you’re needing. I have made exceptions for last minute bookings when I’m available. At our meet and greet I’ll ask what their normal routines are and all their likes and dislikes. Please be aware that I may need to leave once a day during the weekdays my spouse works to let my doggo out, and possibly my regular drop ins depending when scheduled. To keep those away times at minimum please book far in advance so I can decline any extra clients. At my home our routine is; wake up, morning potty, enjoy a human-grade breakfast, another potty break, nap in mom's office. Playtime kicks in around noon, followed by post-lunch potty and another nap. We then join mom in her office, demanding attention, before yet another nap until the next break. Potty, Dinner, and Cuddles. Then one last potty before bed. We’re kinda couch potatoes in our home.

I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”
