About: I have extensive experience with pets from doggy daycares to grooming shops to vet clinics. I have been pet sitting and grooming for the last 10 years. My home is basically for my furr babies. They're allowed on the furniture even though they have 5 of their own beds and 4 little hidey houses. They literally have over 100 toys, all kinds, that they are willing to share with any pup they welcome in here. The house is theirs, I just live here and clean up after them. I work from home and I have classes that are mostly online so, I am home basically all day. I'll be able to watch the dogs all day and I let them go outside about every hour or so to go potty. I have a fenced in yard with a few chickens in the yard. I have an above ground pool with a floating doggy dock to make it easy for them to get out of the pool if they ever jump in but its usually closed off unless it is being actively used. I have 2 friendly shih tzu sisters that are spoiled rotten and 2 little kittens that love playing with the dogs. Dogs can go on all furniture and there are plenty of toys to play with. There are a bunch of dog beds and comfy spots for them to chill inside.
“Regina did an amazing job taking care of my babies while we where out the country. Her flexibility made it so easy for my babies to adjust to our absence. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I love animals both mine and yours! Being an avid lover of animals and not able to take in anymore of my own, I decided years ago to help people care for theirs too. I have been, and currently, love people's pets both in my home and in their's for daily visits, overnights and extended stays. I am experienced in keeping dogs of all ages and breeds. For instance, I currently have a client with 18 (yes, I said 18 but she is a veterinarian) dogs. Most of them being seniors with special needs who are also on some sort of medication so don't worry, i am experienced in giving all sorts of medication. I am currently employed as a veterinarian technician for a nationally known Veterinary Clinic so i am well versed in all aspects of animal care and am comfortable with most pets I meet. I would love the opportunity to meet you and yours! I am currently not working and am looking to pet sit full time again. I am currently booked at the end of this month and the begging of next month. I like to spend all my time and focus on your pets when sitting in your home. I will love on them and care for all of their needs.
“Rachel watched Maddie and Melody while I was gone for an extended weekend. She was very communicative up front and during the stay. She sent a few photos of the dogs and a video. The house was tidy when I returned. She will definitely be my go to sitter in the future if she is available.”

About: Hello! I’m an animal lover who grew up with both a female and a male dog, both about 8 years old. Recently, our third dog passed away at 16 due to some age-related health complications, so I have experience with senior dogs as well. I also have both a female and a male cat that are about 12 and 5 years old, respectively. I have experience pet-sitting for both family and neighbors. I’ve pet-sat small dogs, such as a French bulldog and a Boston terrier, as well as larger breeds, such as an American yellow Labrador and a Great Dane. All the friends and family members I have pet sat for have cats as well. I’m currently between jobs as I’m transitioning to studying for a graduate school entrance exam. My schedule is open and will revolve around your fur babies. I’m a morning person, but I will gladly take evening walks. I'm mainly looking for dog-walking opportunities, but I am open to short-term pet sitting. I do have my cat at my apartment, so I would only be able to do drop-in visits and walks otherwise.
About: Growing up my family always helped shelter and rehome lost pets of all ages and types, I love animals and understand the importance of comfort that a pet needs to be in a strangers care. I enjoy gig work while I take care of my own pack at home. I do work delivery jobs and enjoy a good drive to work I like for pet areas to be clean and tidy for easy access and care. I love long stimulating walks with the pups and some toy time or practicing basic obedience commands in my time with them for mental stimulation.
“This was my first big trip away from home and I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my pup. Let me tell you, Enya quickly got rid of those anxieties. She provided multiple updates and photos of my pup while I was away. She was super responsive when I texted. She stayed over at my house with my pup. I could tell he was well loved while I was gone because even my neighbors approached me when I got back saying how much they saw her with him. I will definitely book with Enya in the future. Thank you again Enya for taking such good care of my Moosey boy!”

“Emily went above and beyond when it came to taking care of our fur baby. She gave updates throughout her visit and we came home to the house looking just as we left it, very clean! Would definitely recommend her. She’s amazing!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little tot. From cats to dogs, I do it all. When leaving your pet with me I will make sure to take top tier care of your baby. As I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them when you’re away. I will send updates daily to give you a peace of mind that they are in good spirits. Look forward to meeting your fur baby. <3 My day to day schedule is very flexible so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet(s). Whether you need someone full or part time. When caring for pets in your home I love written instructions, but can easily adapt if there are none. If wet outside I will let them out to go to the bathroom then dry their fur before letting them enter the home.
“It was my first time using Rover and Rachel made sure it was a good experience. She clarified any needs for the dogs, asked what was acceptable to not cross any boundaries already set, and made sure they had an enjoyable day. Couldn’t be happier to have them watched by her. Would recommend her if you need a sitter.”

About: I grew up with dogs I had 5 growing up a boxer 2 labs a chihuahua and a pekingese. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am comfortable with providing care and scratches for any breed. I'm working part time at the moment so I have plenty of time open in my schedule to watch house or walk your dog as needed. In your home I can go by your instructions same as my residence. Lots of play time walks and tummy rubs I really like to engage with them.
“Dusty took great care of our fur babies and our home. She sent pictures and updates throughout the time that we were gone. Everything was as we left it when we returned. I will definitely rebook with her! She is great!”

About: I’ve helped train your German shepherd’s and they are the sweetest babies ever. Very well behaved and I also have a lot of patience for dogs especially puppies. I have a senior dog and also know the extra care that comes with having one. I’m a full time nail technician and stylist, meaning I have such a flexible schedule and if you need me to take care of your baby during the day I can always run and do so during my breaks. My work schedule at the salon is Tuesday-Saturday I can easily take your fur babies on walks, put them in their crate if needed feed them and also give them cuddles and rubs whenever they need them

“Sarah was exceptional. I honestly couldn’t be more pleased with the care she provided for our dogs. We have a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix and a Chihuahua mix, and she did an amazing job with both of them. She was incredibly thorough, communicative, and responsive throughout the entire stay. She sent some absolutely incredible pictures that gave us peace of mind and showed just how comfortable and happy our dogs were in her care. Unfortunately, our dogs decided to be a little naughty while we were away and made quite a mess. Sarah cleaned up everything without complaint and went above and beyond what I would ever expect from a dog sitter. That level of dedication and care says a lot about the kind of person she is. I can’t say enough good things about her. She treated our dogs like they were her own, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and caring to watch your pets, I highly recommend Sarah. We will absolutely be booking with her again”

“Kaylee is one of my favorite dog sitters! She took great care of my dog and kept me informed at all times. I trust her fully with my dog and I am so happy that I got a chance to have her as my sitter.”

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

About: I love all animals but dogs have always had a special place in my heart. They are joy to be around their positivity is contagious no matter what your day has been like. They are an intuitive soul and one that believe can be healing in alot of ways. I've had several dogs in my life time and lost some to age and to this day they are still with me. In many ways dogs are that thing that makes our lives so much better and carry memories that one never forgets. That's the thing about them, they become so much a part of you that you don't realize this until they are gone. They are our Friend, and in so many ways our Family. I am currently working from home so I your fur baby will be with me all day. Please bring something they can he comfy with like a pillow, favorite toy , blanket. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 1,236 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Quinlan. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Quinlan walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Quinlan maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Quinlan choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quinlan. On Rover:
- 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
