I’m going into my senior year at Texas A&M in the Mays Business School and have a flexible schedule this summer in the Bryan–College Station area. About: With a strong foundation in canine handling and care developed over many years, complemented by personal experience as a pet owner. I am currently working part time with a small business dog groomer. I’m available for all overnights, but there is sometimes for drop in visits that I cannot come between 8 AM and 2 PM Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and 11 AM till 2 PM on Saturdays.My current responsibilities include the dedicated care of two 8-month-old family puppies, and I am actively seeking opportunities to expand my practical experience with a diverse range of canines. When caring for pets in your home I love written instructions, but can easily adapt if there are none. If wet outside I will let them out to go to the bathroom then dry their fur before letting them enter the home.

Unfortunately, our dogs decided to be a little naughty while we were away and made quite a mess. My business is dogs and I find this job rewarding and fun! Aside from vacation times, I'm available most days to spoil your pup. I have two senior dogs Julius the husky and Athena the border collie, as well as Theo the pomapoo who's 5. Big dogs are my favorite but I also love cuddling the little ones. I do not mind what you would call "aggressive" breeds. Husky's have also gotten a bad wrap about being "destructive" and for the most part, it's just not warranted. If I do feel aggression from your pup that could cause serious injury, I will step away from the home and call to ask for recommendations on how to approach them. If it does not seem to be working, I will work with you to find alternate care so that you aren't stranded. Dogs are allowed to have bad days too, and I won't give up easily.

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.
