About: I bring a blend of expertise, compassion, and professionalism to the world of pet care. I am a lifelong dog enthusiast. My dedication to dog well-being extends beyond the home and into the community. My own beloved dog is a certified therapy dog — qualified to bring comfort and joy to individuals in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation facilities. I am committed to quality training, socialization, and the highest standards of pet care. I approach pet sitting with the same thoughtful attention and integrity that I apply to therapy dog work. I understand that each pet is a cherished member of the family. My goal is to create an environment where all pets feel safe, nurtured, and loved during their owner's absence. I have respect for animals. I have a calm and reassuring demeanor. I give meticulous attention to individual needs. I believe that pet care is an art and a responsibility. I hope to promote peace of mind for pet owners — and joy, comfort, and companionship for the animals entrusted to my care. Pet care is a fulfilling extension of my daily life and personal passions. While I maintain a full-time professional career during weekday business hours, I am fully available for pet care services during all weeknights and weekends. I have one masters degree, three bachelor degrees, and maintain two professional licenses. I integrate pet sitting, walking, and animal companionship into my evening and weekend routines. All pets receive focused attention, consistency, and genuine care. My schedule allows me to prioritize the needs of the pets in my care. Whether providing evening walks, overnight stays, weekend visits, or extended companionship, I approach each opportunity with the same dedication and attentiveness that I give to my own therapy-certified dog. My flexibility during non-working hours enables me to deliver exceptional service and peace of mind to pet owners seeking reliable, high-quality care outside of traditional business hours. When entrusted with the care of pets in my clients' homes, I approach the responsibility with the utmost professionalism, attentiveness, and respect. I believe that maintaining a pet’s familiar environment nurtures a sense of security and emotional well-being, which is why I prioritize preserving each pet's routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules and walks to playtime and quiet companionship. I am available to stay overnight in clients’ homes during weeknights and weekends (if needed), offering continuity of care and providing a reassuring presence for pets who thrive on stability and human connection. During my stay, your pet becomes my primary focus. I ensure that all of their needs — physical, emotional, and social — are met with patience, affection, and individualized attention. Whether staying for a single night or extended periods, I treat each home and pet with the same level of care and integrity that I expect for my own therapy-certified dog. My commitment is to offer peace of mind to owners and a comforting, safe experience for their cherished companions.

“Amanda was excellent! Our cat was very well taken care of and we will hire her again! We also really appreciated that she took time with him, brushed him (more than we do!) and cared for him. She was also a great communicator and came over beforehand to learn our system and where we kept things. Thank you again. Also, Amanda when you see this you left your coffee mug at our house. We will leave it on our front porch for you to get whenever you can.”

“I was nervous leaving Moochie for an overnight trip having recently been diagnosed with diabetes. She requires two meals and two insulin injections daily. She is a bit shy and I was unsure if she would eat and accept her meds, but Dane worked his magic and she ate both meals and received insulin. What a relief! Milo was a bit shy the first day but was ready to say hello on the second day. I will definitely call on Dane & Kayla again!”
