“Kelly & Maurice were amazing! They were flexible and accommodating with unexpected delays and provided great communication. Our Gio enjoyed all of his time with their family, and even misses their little fur babies. We will definitely request their services in the future and recommend you do the same!”

“Antavia was fantastic! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”

“Alicia and her family took wonderful care of Zen. She provided daily updates with lots of photos. I could tell he enjoyed his stay. I will definitely rebook with Alicia again.”

“We absolutely loved the services and care that Gil provided for Enzo. We were able to frequently check up on him, and their response time was expedient. Gill and his family were very accommodating, and Enzo had a lot of fun! They took him on walks constantly. Fed him at our desired times and communicated regularly when we wanted to check on him. I definitely recommend using him as your next dog sitter.”

“She is hands down the best sitter I’ve used. I was afraid Peppa would be upset she had to leave. She met so many new friends and went on adventures. If you can book her I highly recommend her.”

About: I am a dog handler for work and have been doing this job for 3 years now. I grew up with big dogs and cats my whole life, and have so much love and compassion for all animals. I am currently working full time with a monthly schedule change. 1st month I will work from 4am-5 pm. 2nd month I will work 8am-5pm. And my 3rd month I will work 4pm- 5am shift. I will sometimes have to leave the local area for work but will be notified in advance! My schedule can seem kinda crazy but I love to work! I currently live in an apartment and won’t be able to do any pet care in my home, but I have no problem with traveling to your home to let your fur babies out for walks, play time, feed and whatever else they need!
“Shuling is simply wonderful! I had never boarded my 3-year-old mini poodle, Milo, before, and I loved that she met with us before I even confirmed the booking. She showed us where Milo would play and took the time to interact with him and get to know him beforehand, which made me feel so much more comfortable. During his stay, she sent pictures and responded promptly whenever I reached out. I could tell that she treated Milo like one of the family and that she genuinely loves dogs. Milo has never stayed with anyone else before, and now he never will! I’m so happy we found Shuling and would absolutely recommend her.”

“Nicholas was super awesome. My dog took to him right away and Nicholas was just superb with Po. He was very good about sending pictures and just never once made me feel like I was missing anything. I would highly recommend Nicholas and will use him in the future for sure”

About: My love of dogs began when my mom got a puppy when I was in sixth grade. Now I am a dog mom. I've been the proud mom of a Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix for the past 4 years. I've raised her since she was 3 months old, through potty training, puppy training and intermediate training. I'd love to care for your fur baby too. I'm at home during the day and available to drop in/ walk your fur baby. I am available in the mornings and in the afternoon. I have an unfenced end unit townhouse. There is grass on the side of my house and plenty of unfenced grass in my townhome community. I work from home almost every day of the week so I will have time to take care of your baby during the weekday. I'm able to get out and walk dogs on the weekends. I have an unfenced yard and a fenced play area in front of my house. I have a friendly fur baby who likes to play and thinks she's the leader of the pack.
“I wish i could gate keep them, but they’re always great and i can tell how well my dog gets taken care of with them. She anyways has friends to play with as well. Highly recommended!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving Obi with Payton and her husband for two nights. They were responsive and sent photos and videos, and Obi looked relaxed and like he was having a great time. I would definitely book with them again!”

About: I’m fairly new to pet care, but after spending 4 year as a care giver, I want to give my second passion a chance which is taking care of dogs and cats. Currently I’m working part-time, but I’m also looking to go full time in the near future. With that being said, I have a lot of time on my hands and fully committed to give your pups and cats unconditional love when needed! House Sitting I’m Available only on weekends. Drop-Ins and Walks I’m available from 2PM to 10PM on weekdays and weekends depending on my schedule! While for boarding I’m currently unable to I will always no matter what have a good ear and eye out for any animal at all times. For walks a leash will be on at all times. For both drop-ins and walks, I will always make sure that any animal is healthy and happy before doing any tasks in doors or outdoors.
“Marianne & Nicholas were so sweet and great with our dog Acadia. She has some separation anxiety and takes some oral meds daily and they did fantastic with everything. We got daily updates twice a day with lots of pictures and videos and it truly looked like Acadia made herself at home. We will definitely be reaching out and booking with them again in the future.”

“Carlton was great! He was very untuned to Georgie’s eating and drinking consumption. He immediately notified me about his concerns. Georgie appeared relaxed and happy at the end of his stay. I will definitely request Carlton’s service again.”

“Addie can’t wait to go into Marcella’s house! In the photos she’s having a fun time. Marcella always takes good care of her. We’re repeat customers; she’s consistently wonderful, and we always feel confident leaving Addie there. Thank you!”

“Monica is AMAZING. She sends daily pictures along with a progress report in which I always looks forward to. My dogs absolutely love her and we will continue to book with Monica.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Queen Anne Estates
They were great with Bailey!! She had such a good time and had fun playing with the other dogs. She wasn’t ready to leave when it was time for pickup. They made sure Bailey was comfortable and communicated to me as well. Would absolutely use them for future bookings!

Kelly and Maurice are the absolute best! They are so kind and it’s so clear they love doggos. They treated our baby like their own both times she stayed with them. We always felt like our fur baby was well taken care of and being loved because Kelly and Maurice sent so many photos of her and gave us consistent updates about her progress. Their doggie apartment is also very cute and cozy! We’re so glad to have found our baby’s home away from home ☺️

As always, we had such a great experience with Mady! She was wonderful with our two senior pups and was incredibly patient, caring, and attentive to their needs. She communicated with us regularly and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pups were happy and well cared for when we got home. We truly appreciate the love and attention she gave them and would absolutely recommend her!

Nicole exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have chosen a better person to care for my dog for the first time wihle I was away. She communicated daily with updates, pictures and videos which eased my mind that my dog was in good hands. I would definitely use Nicole again for my next boarding.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Valerie. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and she cared for our dogs’ medication routines with ease and professionalism. Her property is truly ideal—secure, spacious, and perfect for dogs to explore safely. It means so much to travel knowing our babies are not just looked after, but genuinely cared for. We’re grateful to have found her and will absolutely book again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Queen Anne Estates home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Queen Anne Estates.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Queen Anne Estates sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
