“August was wonderful with my fur baby and my home. It was so much easier to just leave and go on vacation instead of packing my dog up with all her stuff and trying to pick her up. I think it was less stressful for both of us. I definitely will be using August in the future.”

“Maddie was fantastic! She was highly proactive with outreach and made sure to ask lots of questions. She was prompt with a meet and greet and made sure to keep our dog comfortable, giving her all the attention needed and handling things according to our instructions. She was kind, responsive and communicative throughout. We came home to a very happy dog - we wouldn’t hesitate a second to have her back over!”

“Having Madi stay with our dogs was fabulous! They were happy and well taken care of. There was no hunger strike or readjustment period as in the past :) Madi was great with communication!”

“Keith provided house sitting service to us when we are away. He is very responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely use his service again in the future.”

“Riya did an excellent job caring for our 2 year old toy poodle while we are out on vacation as a house sitter. She fed him, walked him and made sure to send us a daily update with pictures on his activities - giving us the peace of mind he was safe and cared for while we were away from our little boy. We will be sure to use Riya’s services again the next time we need to travel and need someone to watch Wilkie at home.”

“Emily was absolutely wonderful watching our dog bean for a week while we were on vacation! Bean is a super shy dog with some arthritis and weird quirks so it was so great that she was able to make bean feel comfortable and secure! She did a great job handling her meds and routine. We came back to a spotless house and a happy dog!”

“Elizabeth is the absolute best and I highly recommend you use her for your pet sitting needs. This was my first time using Rover. I have a larger dog and a cat and I usually would take them to a kennel or have them boarded. I thought I would try Rover when I went on a short road trip and I had no idea what to expect. Elizabeth was the perfect choice. She showed up multiple times a day. Walked my dog, gave my cat treats and sent me dozens of photos over the course of the 5 days that I was gone. She even left a small gift bag with toys and bandanas for my pets that I discovered when I returned home. If you ever need a pet sitting service the first thing you should do is see if Elizabeth is available. If I could give her ten stars I would.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, whether for friends family or volunteering at the Cleveland APL. I currently work at the cat cafe in Cleveland where I have taken care of cats from all walks of life, with all different needs. At home I have two cats (19 and 13) and one dog (18). I have experience with both dogs and cats with many different medical conditions including diabetes, anxiety, hyperthyroidism, dementia, arthritis, CH, and many more! I usually work mornings, so I can do quick visits before work, but have lots of time in my afternoon/evenings to spend time with the animals if that's something that they need! I always like to visit your home and meet the animals and see how you interact with and accommodate your animals! Making sure that the transition between me and you is as seamless as possible and giving the animals a sense of routine is extremely important to me!
“Chy was a great house sitter for our dogs and chickens and she send frequent and helpful updates. We appreciated that she was willing to meet us beforehand to talk about talk about the dogs' needs.”

“Molly was great! She stayed at our house and watched our Great Dane. She kept us updated and sent photos. Our dog is high maintenance and she did a great job caring for her. I recommend Molly and will use her again.”

“Jo truly went above and beyond! She never gave up on my temperamental dog. When my flight got delayed by a whole day, Jo was able to rearrange her schedule to spend an extra day caring for my dog. She is a 5-star pet sitter!”

“I couldn’t have found a better sitter for my beagle. This is the first time he has had a sitter since we rescued him. Madison knew exactly what to do to help Flash adjust to her. Madison’s love for dogs is apparent by the time she spent playing with him and the wonderful pictures she sent with comments. She always responded quickly to all communication. I feel 100% confident leaving my dear dog with her. With all of that said I must add that her warm and friendly personality is a major plus. She has earned the highest score possible for top notch dog sitters!”

“This was Christabel’s second time sitting for my cats. I appreciate her meeting me ahead of the sit to receive the keys and discuss recent changes to my cats’ care. I will definitely check her calendar for any future trips!”

“Olesja did such a good job with our pup. He has some seriously special needs and Olesja was able to figure them out so quickly. He was so happy when we got back and our house was in great shape. We will absolutely be using Olesja again.”

Puritas Longmead pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brittany was such a joy to work with while we were out of state for 6 nights. She took fantastic care of our two somewhat high maintenance dogs, and made it so easy for us to be present on our trip. She sent plenty of pictures and our girls were clearly happy spending time with her. We will absolutely try to book with Brittany again in the future.

Allison was great with our pup, Theo. From the beginning she was great with communication. We received daily updates and pictures and felt confident he was getting great care (and having fun, too). From the first meeting we could see that she loved animals. We would definitely use her again!

Dena is a rockstar! To begin with, she is amazing with my dog. He is old, mostly blind, and has mobility issues. He needs multiple pain medications throughout the day and can get pretty cranky. Dena is clearly very patient and kind towards him. Tater Tot doesn't like very many people, but he has added Dena to his small group. This is the second time I have had her housesit for a week. Unfortunately, our water heater broke the night before we left and Dena graciously agreed to coordinate with the repairman. She also discovered a tick on Tater and convinced him to allow her to put his tick oil on. We are so thankful that she was here this week!! On top of all that she did for us and Tater, the house was perfect when we got home. We 10/10 highly recommend her for any petsitting/housesitting needs! We are so grateful to have found her for Tater Tot!

I found a gem of a cat sitter in Allyce, who came to the rescue when I contacted her with only a few days notice, rearranging her schedule to help. She gave my two cats the best care during my trip, and me peace of mind knowing I could trust her with them my home. She is incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and sweet, and sent me updates throughout the day, assuring me they were being cared for wonderfully. I highly recommend her to any pet parent, and my cats are already looking forward to seeing her again!

Kayla went above and beyond our expectations. She stepped up to take care of our 2 dogs very close to the dates of our trip after another dog sitter had to cancel. There were photos of our “girls” every day. And then she cleaned up the house and washed her bedding before she ended her stay.
Katie was such an amazing dog sitter. She watched both our dogs while we were out of town. Our pups could not have been in more capable hands. Full disclosure, I am a very neurotic pet parent. Katie was left with plenty of obnoxiously detailed instructions. She effortlessly followed instructions, and even went out of her way to shovel around our house. Couldn’t be happier that we booked her!
