I have a larger dog and a cat and I usually would take them to a kennel or have them boarded. I thought I would try Rover when I went on a short road trip and I had no idea what to expect. Elizabeth was the perfect choice. She showed up multiple times a day. Walked my dog, gave my cat treats and sent me dozens of photos over the course of the 5 days that I was gone. She even left a small gift bag with toys and bandanas for my pets that I discovered when I returned home. If you ever need a pet sitting service the first thing you should do is see if Elizabeth is available. If I could give her ten stars I would.”

“We have 5 dogs which can definitely be a handful so we can’t trust them with just anyone. Joe did an awesome job at our meet and greet to do a slow introduction so everyone involved felt comfortable. Joe stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and did very well with all of them, keeping us up to date on feedings and pics of the pups playing. He also took care to leave the house in good clean condition, we unfortunately had a leak in our bay window after a heavy rain but Joe cleaned it up to make sure no further water damage occurred while we were gone which was very appreciated. We would definitely hire Joe again if needed.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with two large dogs of my own, one energetic and playful and one older, calmer pup. They’re both very social and love making new friends, so if your dog enjoys companionship, they’ll have built in buddies during their stay. We welcome dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, as my Labrador Retriever is 105 pounds and my Bernese Mountain Dog is 113 pounds, so I’m experienced handling bigger, stronger dogs on walks and during playtime. Your pup will get lots of attention, supervision, and outdoor time throughout the day. I’m also active and love being outside, so whether your dog prefers walks, runs, backyard playtime, or sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe, exercised, and right at home. I love getting to know each pup ahead of time, so I do require at least 3 days notice to allow for a meet and greet before booking. My husband and I both work from home full time, which allows us to provide frequent potty breaks and constant supervision. We also have separate office spaces, so if any dogs need a break from playtime or a calmer environment, we are able to separate them as needed. With two dogs of our own, we are fully stocked with the essentials including toys, treats, water bowls, beds, and more. We also have a fully fenced in yard with a gate, so the dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time without worry.

About: Adult cat owner for a year and a lifetime of pet care and sitting experience. I work remotely in communications and marketing, so I have open availability and am very flexible with my time and attention. I’ve been an in-house sitter and dog walker for many friends over the last several years and have lots of experience with senior pets and anxious dogs. I work from home, fully remote, so I’m very flexible! Most of my job involves on-screen virtual meetings, writing and phone interviews so I’m happy to break up my day with walks, cuddles, snuggles and play time! I have an indoor-only cat who loves playtime and cuddling, but I also have experience sitting for anxious dogs and senior pets. I’m patient, calm and caring, and happy to sit with them, walk them or play indoor and outdoor.

“Kristen did a fantastic job with our two dogs while we were out of town for 5 days! She was very responsive to communication the entire time. We didn’t return to any accidents or messes we had to clean up which for us is a blessing as one of our dogs tends to have some potty issues when we are gone for an extended period. Usually our dogs are super excited to see us when we return- this time I think they were disappointed to see us and not to see Kristen!! Would definitely rebook ☺️”
