About: Ive been caring for dogs my whole life with my family animals and also pet sitting for friends. Im very comfortable with all breeds! Im your girl for long walks or extra snuggles. I recently moved to Ohio from Oregon and am looking to fill my free time meeting new furry friends and getting to know the area with long walks with your dogs or traveling to new neighborhoods to care for your pets. I will care for your pet however you instruct me to. My goal is to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible while you're away!

About: I have grown up with all different types of dogs. I had a Yellow Lab, two Great Danes, and I had an 8 month old beagle rescue for a few months. I grew up walking my dogs, neighborhood dogs, and family members dogs. I took part in training all four of my puppies, and I have always been one to enjoy walking my dogs, even the 130 pound Great Danes! Since I grew up with dogs in my home, I have lots of toys, dog beds for all sizes, and places for them to stay if needed. I have always loved dogs, and it would be a pleasure to give your dog(s) exercise and take them for walks when available. I am currently a nursing student at Cleveland State University, as well as a part time job at the Cleveland Clinic, so I am usually more available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as weekends. I have toys, dog beds for large and small dogs, as well as a crate for the dogs who might need it! I live in Lakewood, so walking any dogs around the neighborhood as well as different parks is convenient and safe!

About: I’m a dog mom to three rescues (a dachshund, pit mix, and Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix) so I’m very comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also volunteered at City Dogs for the past year, which has given me experience with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious and high energy pups. I previously cared for a senior rescue dog, so I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and attention they need. I’m also a nurse, which means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and very attentive to safety and well-being. I also have a 14-year-old cat at home, so I’m comfortable caring for cats and understand their unique personalities, routines, and needs. I treat every dog like my own and focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine! I work part-time as a nurse four days a week and am typically home by around 2pm. This allows me to be available for afternoon walks, evening drop ins, and most weekends, plus I have one weekday fully open each week. For house sitting, the longest I’m away from your home is about 8 hours (including my commute), and I always prioritize making sure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for while I’m there. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in the environment they know and feel most comfortable in. I do my best to stick closely to their usual routines so everything feels familiar and low stress. I’m very mindful of safety, whether that’s being aware on walks, keeping doors and gates secure, or making sure pets are always supervised. I follow all care instructions carefully and treat your home and pets with the same respect I would my own. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing!!

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I helped provide senior care for my childhood lab who had issues walking and have self trained two puppies. I have had a cat for nearly 7 years and have cat sit for several friends and neighbors. I work remotely from home so I am am available when your pet needs me. I am a night owl while my partner is an earlier rise pets have someone awake at almost all hours. I have a fenced yard although I never leave my pets outside unattended, some sections of fence are less secure for smaller dogs or professional escape artists but can be temporarily altered when needed. I also provide walks and indoor playtime.

About: I have raised three reactive dogs in my lifetime so far. I understand the patience and commitment to making sure your pets are happy and healthy in every aspect and accommodated for! I work full time, but my job is very flexible. I usually will have an assignment outdoors that rarely take more than two hours to finish so I’m able to stop by home or your home and make sure the animals are doing fine. I have availability Sunday to Sunday! For pets in my home, making them feel safe and secure is a priority. Just like people, being in a new environment can be stressful. So, your pets comfort will be my focus. For pets in your home, making sure to not intrude on space and keep a routine is essential for everyone to be happy and safe!

About: I grew up with a variety of dogs, from my first dog, a Boxer named Sky, when I was 9 years old, to Shih Tzus and a Boston Terrier in my teen and college years. I've loved every one of them for their unique personalities and am proudly a dog person! Aside from family dogs, I have dog sat for friends and family for over 10 years and fall in love with each one as if they're my own. I now own a 2.5 year old Boston Terrier named Becks, who loves a good morning walk (or a good lay in the grass while I stand there 🤪). I no longer pet sit, but would love to care for your dogs throughout the day to give you a helping hand! I work from home as a freelancer and am available to shift my schedule throughout the workday. I have my own car and am able to travel anywhere on the west side to check in on your pup and give them a nice break outside! I have worked as a pet sitter both in my home and client's homes. I will be responsible when entering your home, letting your dogs out, and will make sure to communicate in a timely manner throughout the process.

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole and I live on the West side of Cleveland (I own a house in the West Park area). I work from home and I get lonely! I loooooove pups, have been dog sitting for about 7 years on Rover (longer off) and I have had a few of my own dogs over the years. I currently have a 10+ old Australian Cattle Dog named Jax who is a blind, old man who loves laying around sleeping and sniffing other dogs. He's medium sized and gets along great with other dogs (he even lived in a foster home with another cattle dog before I got him.) So, needless to say your dog must get along with other dogs. I am available to walk and let your dogs out during the day/night, and to dog sit overnight or during the day at my home — as long as our dogs will get along. A meet and greet will be needed. I would love some company while I work. All sizes welcome! My only prerequisite is that the dog is potty trained and doesn't chew. Would prefer a trained dog that listens as well. I am a petite girl and untrained dogs tend to push me around. Haha. (Although I would consider a young puppy for overnights only.) I live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of sidewalk for walks (I love walking!). I also live close to the metros (for hikes!), a dog park and I even know of a dog beach! I also live close to a Vet and groomer. So if you need me, I am here! Can't wait to pet your pup! Oh and I have references if you wanna check on me. :) They just aren't on Rover.com. I work from home so its is easy to care for a pet. I am easily accessible and can keep an eye out for any issues. I care for them as if they are my own. I am the weirdo who thinks of dogs as children. So they are allowed on furniture and they are allowed to sleep with me if they so choose.

About: I’ve always taken care of animals my whole life. From dogs,cats,chickens to small critters. I love having fun with animals as of playing, walks and teaching new tricks! I’m currently free 7 days a week. My calendar is always up to date! If it’s green I’m free! If you ever need to drop off a day ahead or even have your pet stay an extra day do to some issues I WON’T charge an extra fee I understand life always throws things at us. I care for pets in my home like they are my own children. I love playing and spending time with pets and animals I love to spoil other people’s pets as they are my own I do have a closed in fence and is shaded so when pets are out there there is no problem with the sun. If your dog, doesn’t get along with other dogs please let me know because sometimes I do have another dog already in my care and my number one priority is to always make sure all animals are safe. (Hopefully) Taking care of animals is a passion of mine, I treat them all as if they are family members of our own. It is so important to make sure they get treated just as the owners would treat them, make them feel safe while you are away and relieve any separation anxiety they may have. I understand it is hard to leave your pet with strangers but I can assure you they will be well taken care of and become very comfortable seeing me when needed. I live in a smoke-free home, with a large fenced in back yard, plenty of safe space for running.
