My family fostered all manner of animal throughout my childhood and I spent the last 4 years boarding dogs in Cincinnati, OH. Now that I’m back in Asheville (my heart home) I wanted to bring my amazing pet services with me! I have a wonderful set up for both cats and dogs. The indoors are arranged so dogs can move freely throughout the house, lots of doggy beds and multiple kennels that are cleaned between each stay. There is a separate room for the kitties to play and be at home in if they don’t get along with dogs. There is a huge, fenced in outdoor area for puppy free play and they get lots of play and training inside as well. So, even in inclement weather your pups will be active! We do at least 2 walks per day in addition to free access to the large outdoor area. I send photos with updates every morning and evening, and I’m available all hours for check ins at your leisure. I have handled every manner of pet emergency one can imagine, so your babies are in very good hands. I can provide food, treats and other pet care products at your request. If you’re interested in grooming and bathing I’m happy to add those services at no additional cost! I want all the pets I see to leave happier than they arrived, and for all pet owners I serve to know their pets are well cared for and attended to. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to me directly via message. There’s very little we can’t solve together! I do this full time, so all my hours go to your pups! I don’t often leave home, but when I do the pets go into their respective areas (kennels if applicable) and there are puppy cams around the house to make sure they are safe and well. I would never be gone from home for more than 1-2 hours but you can rest assured that I’ll usually be home the entire time. Pets in my home only receive love. I do not scold, and if behavior needs to be prevented I use a firm tone and/or time outs to manage. I do not believe punishing animals helps them learn, and I always use positive reinforcement to correct behavior. This would be something I communicate with you ahead of time, to ensure all the commands and care are consistent with what they get at home. They are allowed on all the furniture unless you inform me they are trained not to, in which case I would abide by their training. I would never, ever leave a pet outside unattended or without access to snacks and toys. The home is a veritable puppy and kitty heaven!

At 10 years old we had 2 litters of kittens in the house I had to help with and not long after we had a puppy. We always have a cat and dog around. I currently have 5 cats and 2 dogs. I have syringe fed 2 different kittens in my life as they were found in the wild with no mother insight. I have potty trained 2 different puppies and raised them from 6 weeks old I currently have a open availability. Ready to help whenever I am needed. Can be early morning, afternoon, or evening. I had a great dane who we lost to old age in August. She was great at caring for him and his needs when he wasn't feeling great (not moving around easily or was tired). She plays with him, gives him love and pets, and alone time when it is needed in a separate space. Lola is 5 months old. She has been great at maintaining the schedule and routine we set up with Lola to help with her potty and crate training. She gave her plenty of one-on-one attention and play time. She also allowed her to socialize with other pets and have quiet time when needed. Rikki has also taken care of our senior cat, Angel. Angel is quite the princess and she does not like other cats or dogs. She would make sure to spend quality time with her and she also gave her a designated safe space away from others to have alone time. This was important so that she didn't feel unnecessary stress. I can absolutely recommend Rikki to take care of your pets. She will treat them as her own and ensure that their needs are met and they are taken care of. My dogs and cat get so excited to see her, it is like going on a vacation for them when they stay with her. We couldn't be more happy with our choice to let her care for our pets!”
