Alyssa came over for a meet n greet - took the time to learn his quirks, training, and personality then came over again for a one on one walk. Our GSD runs away, barks, and hides when new people try to clip his leash but she sent a pic twenty minutes later on a walk with him. We were not only impressed with her care, demeanor, and skill but also extremely grateful/relieved to have found a sitter like Alyssa. Highly recommend her for all dog sitting needs and breeds!”

About: I’ve had my dog for almost 7 years and now have two dogs. I grew up with dogs and they are my passion. Im a nurse getting my masters and have some time to take care of other fur babies. I am committed to taking care of all types of dogs of all ages. I currently have some weeks off of clinical rotations so I am home most of the time. Afterwards I will be gone about 2x a week. I live in an apartment, but I take my dogs out on regular walks every few hours. I do not crate train my dogs and they are allowed to go on furniture.

About: Hey there, we are Rod & Ros! We both had pets our whole lives, both of our grandparents are veterinarians, so we grew in a household full of love and knowledge about pets. My girlfriend has been a pet sitter since she was in middle school she took care of senior dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, turtles, fishes and parrots. I myself have also been a doggy sitter several times for friends and family. We both just love petsitting and that is why we decided to join Rover. My girlfriend works part time from home and I work at night so we both have plenty of time during the day to play and enjoy time with your pet. We have two Australian parakeets, when there are no other pets around, we love to free them inside the apartment so that they can stretch their wings. When we have pet guests we keep them in their cage and if the guest is not comfortable with them we keep them in a separate room. We work regular office hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, so during weekdays we only offer walk service or drop-inn visits after 5:30pm. On weekends we have full availability for both walks and drop-in visits. We love to make your dog or cat feel special and loved on the short time of our visit or walk, we would try to connect with your pet and give him/her all the love we can, for this reason we only walk one dog at the time and we do only 1 drop in visit during weekdays. Your special furry friend deserves respect and value time, during our walk or visit, we will always pay attention to what they make, making sure they stay hydrated not overexposed to high temperatures , we will be patient and do as many stops as they need to make.

About: Dogs are my passion! To me this isn’t a job but a hobby and a way for owners to feel at ease when having to leave their dog. I grew up with dogs and my family dogs do not live with me in my apartment so I’m always looking for dog company! From long walks to playing fetch, I will keep your dog entertained and cared for. I am trustworthy and reliable and would love to care for your dog. I typically work from home 2-3 days a week and can be flexible on which days to accommodate scheduling requests. Always available on fridays and weekends for the most part. I’m in an apartment building on the 6th floor. We have a dog park on site but I would also just walk your dog around the area. (Whatever you prefer). I’m very cautious with elevators and wouldn’t ride one if another dog is in it at the same time. I also like to provide pics and updates to the owner throughout the day so they feel at ease. I have a roommate who also loves dogs and has one as well - a shitzu. He is very friendly and calm.
