“Kimmeth really understands cats!!! She is absolutely amazing and caring and the drop-in card are absolut joy! We have total trust when she takes care of your babies!”

About: Lifelong dog lover and current med student here! Raised alongside a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six, I’ve spent nearly my whole life caring for pups. My medical training makes me exceptionally detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure, while my inner kid just wants to provide the same love and attention I give my own family dogs. I’m a med student taking a gap year to study for my Step 1 exam. Since I study from home nearly 24/7, your pup will have constant companionship, a quiet environment, and endless study-break cuddles!. I’ve raised and loved a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six years old, so dog care is second nature to me. Living right in Las Olas, I offer a premium, ultra-reliable, and highly attentive environment. My medical background means your pet is in the safest, most responsible hands possible!
About: I've been looking after dogs and cats for almost everyone I know since I was twelve and I've wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. Currently, I'm saving for vet school, but before finding Rover I worked in veterinary offices and boarding kennels where I was responsible for everything from filing medical records and booking appointments to group enrichment and food and medication administration (including subcutaneous fluids). I have also trained dogs professionally (mostly puppies, but some older dogs as well) and fostered for the county shelter. These experiences have made me comfortable with medical and behavioral challenges with animals of any size and I am confident in my ability to care for your fur babies as well as I do mine. Lastly, dietary restrictions excluded of course, don't forget the treats and toys! I am very big on enrichment and positive reinforcement and I'm yet to meet an animal who didn't want a little spoiling. I'm excited to meet you and your pets and hope to foster a long and trusting relationship with both. I am home almost every day that I am not out on Rover jobs. This allows me the flexibility to work with multiple pet families and meet everyone's needs. As all pets are different, I am happy to discuss care plans with pet parents to make sure I can provide what is both needed and wanted, but my schedule is flexible enough to accommodate the vast majority of requests. I do request at least 4 hours notice (including service confirmation) for walks, 2 days notice for drop ins, and a week's notice for house sitting. This is to ensure that I can meet the needs of all clients adequately as well as schedule my non-pet care obligations appropriately. If you are in need of services on shorter notice than the above, I will do my best to accomodate but services will be subject to a 40% upcharge as a rush fee. I am active on Rover throughout the day from about 9am to 8pm (unless I am actively with client animals in which case I remain accessible to said client minus times I am indisposed). I am happy to walk/drop-in on pets several times a day. Administering food and medication during these times is something I am completely comfortable with as I do so for my own animals regularly. Scooping litter boxes is also well within my wheelhouse (though my cat is particularly picky and has a self-scooping one for his comfort). I am used to active/playful dogs and cats as I have one of each myself and I am happy to take some long walks and/or get a good play session going depending on what is most appropriate for the animals in my care. With permission (and the appropriate safety gear) I am also happy to take dogs to their local dog park for socialization and peer play.
“Kristina is the best! Always very responsive and provides lots of updates and cute pictures of my kitty Glow when she babysits her. She gives me so much peace of mind and makes me feel like I can truly enjoy my travels when I’m away and not worry.”

About: I work in a Veterinary office & Paw Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am also a dog photographer! I am surrounded by dogs & cats daily and the care that they need will absolutely be my top priority! For 18 years + I have taken care of dogs that need special diets, medications, insulin and eye drops from cataract surgery. My two Cavaliers are Elliott & Walter, they are my family & they also want my attention 24/7! I know how a pet feels when they are not with “their person”… they need to feel comforted & loved. So I talk to them, cuddle them, play, praise them, they get hugs & kisses! I do the same at work, and try to make all dogs checking in feel comfortable, so that they are not nervous while they are getting groomed. *I can also bathe, fluff, nail dremel, shave paw pads, clean ears & do a sanitary trim for an additional $35. My favorite is taking pictures of your pets, I’m happy to send videos and photos daily so that you can see how much fun your pet is having while you relax while you’re away! Your dog should be neutered/spayed, unless a puppy 🐶 be socialized and able to be around others without aggression. Also be friendly with cats 🐈, I have 2! Only “Socialized non-aggressive dogs 20lbs or less”, no pit bulls. Please have pictures and details about your pet on your Rover profile. My employment allows me to come home during my lunch hour to spend time with my dogs, feed them and let them out and play. I am available for small dogs to board in my home. I do have two kitties 🐈⬛ and would want to make sure your dog 🐕 is friendly around felines. I am off work for the weekends. If you prefer your pet stay at their own home, I can do drop- in visits for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. I am privately insured with Pet Care Insurance to care for your pet in my home, or yours. *Please make sure if your pets are staying at my home, that they are caught up on their current vaccinations and flea medication’s. Have you ever taken your dog to a doggy daycare & observed that they are friendly with dogs? That’s the kind of dog that would blend in best with my environment here with my two cavaliers, and I also have 2 cats. I would not take on more than two dogs at a time, so that I can give them enough attention. I have a large fenced in yard where I take my dogs outside to safely play! I also have a smaller fenced in side yard/patio off of my kitchen. I would like to do a meet and greet prior, either at my house or in my yard. I want to make sure everyone is “social & comfortable”. All dogs should be neutered or spayed, except for puppies under 8 months old. 🐶 If your dog has a favorite bed or blanket or toys, please pack those for their pup-vacation!
“Agustina was fantastic with my cat Butter. She administered eyedrops, pills, and an oral syringe full of liquid supplements that Butter needs to take. She was communicative, responsive, and very eager to learn about the needs of my cat and myself!”

“Mara was absolutely awesome! Very communicative and friendly! My dog is shy & she was comfortable with her. I’ll definitely be booking with Mara again!”

“I was fortunate enough to hire Sean as a cat sitter for my girl Daisy after scheduling a trip out of town somewhat last minute. He was the only sitter who promptly responded to my booking request, and I was able to immediately schedule a meet and greet with him. Sean listened to all my instructions, and even asked relevant questions for things that I may have missed. I was initially very nervous to leave Daisy at home, but Sean’s care put me at ease. Sean followed all of my instructions, left the apartment as clean as I had left it, regularly updated me with photos, and was generally good with communication. Daisy is skittish and shy around people, but really seemed to warm up to Sean by the end. Sean is a conscientious person who truly cares about animals, and I would not hesitate to hire him again.”

“Aaron is AWESOME! He came and helped me out big time when I had a sudden emergency stay at the hospital. He went above and beyond with my dog Tank. He took great of him in my absence and I can’t be more appreciative. Truly 5 star!💯”

About: I have had animals (dogs, cats, livestock and more) my entire life. I grew up on a farm know what animals need and how they interact with people and other animals. I’m available most anytime with notification. I am always working but if I have a pet to care for it will be the first priority. I am able to stop at your home feed, walk, clean up after them and myself. Stay with them as needed. Available for stay over night when needed.
“Sandy was amazing! When I first contacted her, I needed a last minute sitter. I had never used a sitter or Rover before. She responded promptly and offered to do a meet & greet, working with my schedule before I left town. For each check-in, she provided detailed reports and pictures of each of our kitties. She went above and beyond when one of our cats had to be picked up from our nearby vet. I felt so much better on vacation knowing our kitties were in amazing hands. We will absolutely use her services again!”

About: I have taken care of a multitude of breeds and animals throughout my life. Growing up I had a teacup poodle named Clara Bow. I later had an english bulldog named Lulu. During my years in high school through present time, my family dogs include a Dalmatian, a Cavalier King Charles, and a new addition Toy Poodle. Dog walking and caring has been a task I have enjoyed and attended to since I was only a child. I have experience with pitbull breeds, as well as older dogs who may need medicine administered, diapers, etc. I look forward to taking amazing care of your cute pups! I am a college student so my schedule is different depending on the season. I bounce around between Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, and Ocala, Florida. I work part time and have availability for walking, sitting, drop ins, etc on most days of the week. I currently own a cat of my own and she will be a year old in October. No matter which location I am in, my home is filled with comfort, cleanliness, and calm. In Fort Lauderdale there are the two dogs I mentioned, my family dalmation and cavalier king charles. My cat comes wherever I go, but when tending to services in Ocala and Gainesville it is just my one cat in the home.
“We booked Nicole for last-minute drop-in visits for our dogs, and she truly saved us. She was quick to respond, always on time, and so kind with our pups. She sent photos and updates each visit, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Our dogs adored her, and we would happily book with Nicole again.”

About: I have alot of experience with all types of Dogs from seniors to disabled, as I've been fostering and rescuing for 17yrs now. I work from home part time so I am available 24/7. I am a very responsible dog owner myself. I cook for my dogs, give them supplements, red light therapy(lol), and make sure I always walk with an air bottle or taser to keep safe from aggressive dogs off leash. You have absolutely nothing to worry about if you leave your baby's in my care! I am currently working part time from home so I am very flexible and easily available especially last minute. I am very active so if your dog has alot of energy we can go for a nice jog! I have a 6 foot locked and gated backyard. Walm my dogs 2-3 times a day and dog park when able to. I am a bit OCD with safety. I never leave a home unless I check to see if stove top and dryer is off.
“José was very accommodating and responsive, especially since this was over the holidays. He works with his brother, so it was great to know they have a team to ensure everything is taken care of.”

“Kelly is so great with my puppy! She has great communication and sends the cutest pictures!! She also takes great care of my home while she is there.”

About: I have been a dog owner my whole adult life. I have experience with special needs animals, I’ve hand fed my dogs when necessary. One of my dogs is 125lbs so I am totally comfortable with all sizes. I am a personal trainer and teach spin so I am able to keep up with the highest of energy dogs. I’ve volunteered with rescues, I’ve taken care of friends’ pets, I’m the crazy lady who asks to pet every dog I walk by. I will treat your pet as your baby, and happy to accommodate any specific routines, habits, needs your pet has. My schedule is flexible, as of right now I’m teaching a class a day so I have the time to give to your baby.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Birch Park
Liraz is the best! She is 1000% reliable and responsive, communicates frequently and shares updates and pics. Our cat is always happy to see her and I have complete peace of mind knowing that our cat is truly loved and cared for. Liraz goes above and beyond in her care!
Marissa has been so helpful! Our puppy is so energetic, so young, and honestly a handful and Marissa has more than kept up. She makes sure our pup is cared for and she keeps us updated with everything that happens, we feel so comfortable with her around Winston. He can be a little needy, and truthfully so is his dad (lol) and she has been happy to help with all of our specific instructions. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

Every time I go on vacation, I worry about leaving my pup, Viking. He has never been boarded and is most comfortable in his own environment, so finding someone I could trust was very important to me. Taylor came by to meet Viking beforehand, and right away I felt great about her. She had such a warm, positive vibe, and Viking immediately felt comfortable around her. That gave me so much peace of mind knowing he would be in good hands while I was away. Taylor was reliable, caring, and treated Viking with kindness and attention. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. I would love to have her do drop-in visits for Viking again in the future!

I usually use friends or family to watch my senior husky, but didn't have anyone last minute and so I hired Alyssa. She took care of my Senior Husky and made sure to spend quality time with her during each visit. She's reliable, dependable, and was always on time. Both my husky and I appreciate her for taking good care of my pup while I was away. I will gladly recommend Alyssa!

Karen always goes above and beyond! Our sweet girl is disabled (Manx syndrome) and has very unique care needs, and we always feel completely comfortable leaving Tilly in Karen’s care. We can’t recommend her enough. It’s very evident through the care she provides and the work she does just how much she loves animals 🐈⬛🐈
