About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and is something I just love. Whenever I go to see a friend who owns a dog, I spend more time with the dog often times! I don’t have any of my own at the moment since my partner has allergies, but being there to dog sit will allow me to spread that love and care with them. I have watched many of my friends dogs overnight or just for the day due to my hybrid schedule - which is wonderful! I work a hybrid role - so I might be able to offer walks during the day on some days of the week. But weekends work best for me to stay over and dog sit (for those traveling or don’t want their dog in someone else’s home). This will help build trust and love with the little ones, while keeping them in the comfort of their own home. I always want to ask, what are the do’s and dont’s since every dog is different. I want to make sure they are able to relax and enjoy the company as much as I would. If I’m able to stay at the sitters home, I will routinely send updates or photos (as desired) and give them peace of mind to know that they’re little ones are safe with me. I absolutely adore dogs and I want to make them as loved as they deserve. If I take them for walks, recap anything that they did to report back to the owner as well.

“Alyssa has been amazing with our one year old German Shepherd. He’s very sensitive and needs some patience, TLC, and understanding. Alyssa has a calming energy matched with leadership and good animal intuition that our GSD has responded remarkably quickly to. Alyssa came over for a meet n greet - took the time to learn his quirks, training, and personality then came over again for a one on one walk. Our GSD runs away, barks, and hides when new people try to clip his leash but she sent a pic twenty minutes later on a walk with him. We were not only impressed with her care, demeanor, and skill but also extremely grateful/relieved to have found a sitter like Alyssa. Highly recommend her for all dog sitting needs and breeds!”

Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid! I have a 4 pound Yorkie named Halo, and we love, welcoming friends in our home! I work from home, so plenty of love and attention and walks for your pup! I am comfortable with Senior pups as I have cared for my past pup, and I’m comfortable with puppies and I have cared for litters a couple times from my past dogs and rescue puppies. I’m currently working from home, so plenty of time for walks and care for your pup! I also have a rooftop deck that me and my pup love to get some sun time without a leash. My neighborhood has plenty of grass to roll around in and we even have a large park around the corner with dog parks if that’s what your dog loves. I have a large home with plenty of space to play, and we always welcome the pups on the couch and bed in this home so they won’t ever feel lonely. We also have a rooftop terrace if your pup loves a little bit of sunbathing and we are close to dog parks! I also live in a gated community for extra safety
