I’ve been on Rover since 2023, and now that I’m semi-retired, I’m excited to dedicate even more of my time to caring for dogs. Since I’m semi-retired, I have plenty of flexibility and time to dedicate to each dog I care for. My day usually includes morning and evening walks, regular playtime, and lots of attention and affection throughout the day. I also build in time for feeding, potty breaks, and any special routines or instructions a pet may have. Because I already care for my own dog, Kyle, I’m used to maintaining a consistent, calm, and pet-friendly environment. Adding another pup into the routine feels seamless — I truly enjoy it, and I make sure each dog gets the care and engagement needed. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and relaxed environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walks to playtime and rest. My dog, Kyle, is friendly and enjoys having company, so visiting pups always have a companion. I supervise all interactions, provide plenty of affection, and make sure each dog has their own space if they need quiet time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully. I maintain the pet’s familiar routine, whether that involves walks, meals, medications, or special habits. “Ted was awesome! We met beforehand to introduce him to our two dogs. Ted was instantly a hit with them so we scheduled 3 drop-in visits for 6 days and the dogs were perfectly taken care of, including daily walks and playtime. My dogs loved Ted so much that I didn't get one spiteful poop from my little dog in his secret, "I'm-mad-you-left-me", spot. Ted also sent photos and comprehensive updates through the Rover app after each visit. I will definitely be booking with Ted again.”

About: I’m very comfortable with animals of all kinds. I’m a full time student but I am able to take care of pets during my off times. I enjoy exploring and able to take care for animals of all sizes, whether it’s walking a dog or a cat! I am able to do weekends and night time walks! If you would like me to take care of your pet on weekdays, I will have to set a schedule that will accommodate both parties! I will do my best in making sure your pet has fun while I’m around. If you have a backyard, we will enjoy time there and if not I am able to take your pet to a park or wherever you feel comfortable!

About: I have loved all pets since I was little when my grandpa was a vet. I’ve always had dogs growing up and absolutely love taking care of all of them and I’m always looking for a new furry friend I’m currently working part-time and I always have extra time just laying around so I wanted to give myself a little something to do and something that I enjoy! I have 2 dogs of my own and they have a massive yard to run in and absolutely love going on walks that I take them on everyday and I would do the same and care for your pets like they are my own.

Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. I'm patient and love to learn about your animals personality, like there favorite toys, treats or games. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for taking nice walks with your pet. I currently have no pets , so your pet will get my full love and attention. Your pet will get extra love from my sweet daughter and husband, who are both absolute pet lovers. I can also administer medicine or follow any special instructions you may have. I take this seriously, I have cared for elderly blind dogs, cats with wounds that needed treatment, so I have experience with certain special needs. You can also count on constant photos and texts to keep you updated on how your animal is doing. I work part time from home and can pick my own hours but caring for animals is my full time job and my passion. I'll be available to your pet 24/7, especially since I don't currently have a pet. My day will be committed to caring for your pet, they will get plenty of love , attention, play time and rest time. I live in a nice 1 story home with plenty of space for your pet to play, I also have plenty of toys, treats and comfy spots for your pet to relax. I have fenced in yard for them to play and there is a park just a short walk away. Our pets are our family and I will treat them like family and respect any request you may have. You're welcome to bring your pets crate , bed, food , toys, favorite treats or anything that will make them feel more at home. You can also expect many pictures of your pet having fun throughout the day to help ease your mind.
