About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: I've always had a deep connection with dogs. I bring a very calming canine energy, and trust is gained quickly. Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. About: I have worked as a kennel technician for dog boarding and helped animals in need and an animal care attendant at the shelter. I currently work at a dog day care facility. I have numerous experience with cats and dogs. I have helped delivered puppies, took care of all animals for extended periods and have overnight dog sat for more than 2 weeks at a time. I love all animals and will protect them with my life!! I am currently working but my hours are flexible and i am in nursing school full time so i am available as much as possible. I can fit your pet into my routine with no problem! I have a fenced yard and a dog at home. I will care for the animals in the clients home but not my own due to my dog not being so well with animals since he was abused very heavily before he came to me. Now he’s a spoiled baby!! I will follow a schedule with no problem and reassure my client with constant communication and understanding that their animal is being 100% loved and cared for.
