“Jaideep and his family were prompt, professional, and took excellent care of my elderly dog in their home. I asked for periodic updates and photos of my pup and received several throughout each day showing Torch getting care per my instructions and looking happy and well cared for. Jaideep's home is comfortable and safe for my dog with a fence-enclosed back yard. I won't hesitate to book with Jaideep again.”

“Kathy was great!! We loved waking up to the morning updates of how our Skye was doing. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning in the future!”

“Goose was so happy after his overnight stay with Oleg! He was able to play and get lots of love at his house. Oleg was responsive and flexible with us to make it a pleasant experience for us just as much as it was for Goose!”

About: I’ve owned doggies for the last 15 years. Twice did I have two dogs under my care for over a years’ time. I cared for a senior dog, during the last year of his life. Plenty of space for walks and potty breaks.

“My dog had a better vacation than I did! I received photos and a video showing him having a great time and we definitely found his second home. I know he's looking forward to my next vacation!”

About: I am available all day every week and weekend. I am a very big dog lover and am kind hearted. I enjoy being outside and love being with furry friends. I am recently unemployed. I have had a lot of experience with dogs and grew up with multiple puppies. I lost a large amount of weight in Highschool from walking with my family dog twice everyday, throughout the summer and fall seasons. I believe greatly that animals need to be exercised everyday in order to live a full and happy life. With a willing to travel far distances and the ability to work with all breeds I hope to be a good choice for anyone who needs a dog sitter or dog walker. Thank you.
“I recently left my dog with Laura and had another wonderful experience! She provided excellent service and cared for Theo like he was her own during his stay there. She took amazing care of him and sent regular updates and photos that put my mind completely at ease. It felt so good to know that he was in such good hands and was having a great stay. Theo came home happy and relaxed and I know he was very well loved. I would absolutely recommend Laura and can’t wait to book again with her!”

“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“We left Iris, our choc lab, with Pam and Mike for 2 weeks while we traveled on the west coast. They sent daily pics of her romping in the yard with their dogs and playing in the dog pool. There is a big fenced in yard and a couple of mini horses in the area adjacent. She had a Great time and we will definitely call them again if we travel out of state.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for 16+ years, my dog for 7 years and counting, and I briefly worked at Canine Clubhouse for almost 2 months. I am available for dog sitting, doggy daycare, and cat sitting since I am a stay at home mom to my 2 amazing boys and I have 1 dog and 2 cats. At home my cats are grazers and eat when they want to and my dog gets fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food and has to be let outside on a leash because our backyard is not currently fenced in.
“Kayla was terrific watching our 2 dogs. We had a last minute trip and our normal boarders were not available. We had a great meet and greet and our dogs were at her house 2 days later for a long weekend. Her communication while we were away was amazing. The dogs received walks along with a nice backyard to stretch out in. I definitely will be booking her again!”
“Abigail was great! We needed a last minute sitter for our 1yr old pup for a 10 day trip and Abigail accommodated us with no problem! She was even willing to do a meet and greet before the stay. My 1yr old still has puppy like behaviors which I warned her about and she had no problem as well! My pup also loved spending time with her very friendly dog and kids! She also communicated very well with great response times. Will definitely have Abigail sit for us if needed again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.
“Victoria was amazing! She cared for our dog Chloe with so much love, as if she were her own. She’s kind, responsible, and truly loves animals. Our whole family is beyond grateful — Chloe was happy, safe, and so well looked after. We highly recommend her!”

“Judy was wonderful with my old boy Charlie! She took him on lots of walks and he quickly got attached to her. She sent lots of picture and videos of him. I highly recommend her for watching your pooch!!”

“Diana was outstanding to work with. We have a 10 week old Rottweiler who is a handful and we were leaving her for the first time since adopting her. Diana was great with communication, updates and plenty of pictures. Great overall experience from start to finish.”

“We had Max stay with Josie and her family for 2 weeks. She updated us with lots of photos especially being away for that long. Our doggy Max always seem to love being in their home and is always excited when we drop him off 😊 a plus - her 2 kids seem very good with Maxxy!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Progress
Tiffany has watched Poe before about 8 years ago. With Covid we didn’t get to use her for a little and then we’re using family and friends. Recently found her back again and Poe recognized her from his times before. He loves her and always is happy in the photos and videos. She puts lots of love into their visits.

We had a great experience with Rebecca. Bennie seemed happy and comfortable with her, and we really appreciated how patient and gracious she was when he unexpectedly had a few accidents despite being potty trained. We could tell that she genuinely cared for him and would be happy to have her watch Bennie again.

Melinda did a wonderful job taking care of our girl! She was super accommodating to all of her specific needs and made sure she felt safe and comfortable. It was such a relief to know Remy was in good hands and with someone who treated her as one of her own. I definitely recommend booking with Melinda. Remy is already looking forward to her next stay!

We were very happy with Rosa and her family. From start to finish, they were very caring and sweet. Since it was our first experience, we loved it. Our pups were in the best hands. We highly recommend trusting Rosa, you won’t regret it. Thank you so much, Rosa and family! From Tina and Cooper 🐶🐶🫶🏻❤️

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
