I'm retired from the PA State Police. My shih-tzu, Jax, passed away in April 2020 due to sudden kidney failure. I miss having a dog around; however, I'm not ready to get another one just yet. I'm available pretty much 24/7. I will help you train your puppy and I'm good at getting dogs to take their medications. I can also give shots, if necessary. I will be home with your dog the entire time they are in my care, so potty breaks can happen as often as needed. I'm flexible on times and the amount of dogs (as long as they get along with each other). I have a car seat for dogs up to 20 pounds and two car leashes for larger dogs. I also live within walking distance of a veterinarian clinic. I daycare a Shar Pei bulldog Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I require a meet and greet while she is in my care prior to booking a dog during those days/times. I also daycare a Sheltie puppy 3-4 days per week (Mon-Sun). Three dogs in my house at any time is my limit. It is best if your dog gets along well with other dogs as it is rare that I don't have at least one dog here. I have a large dog crate and a gate to separate smaller dogs in the kitchen during feeding times. Two tie out stakes in my backyard with 25 foot leads. I will be with them while they are out there.
