Pet care experience

Exclusive One-Family Care 🐶❤️

Your dog won't be one of several boarding dogs in my home. I care for only one client family at a time, allowing me to provide personalized attention and care throughout their stay. I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I provide a calm, attentive home environment where your pet receives plenty of love, playtime, regular walks, and individualized care based on their routine and personality. My previous experience on Rover’s Trust & Safety team gives me additional knowledge of pet behavior, safety awareness, and risk prevention. I provide a low-stress, structured routine tailored specifically to each dog, whether you have a playful pup or a senior dog with a more delicate routine. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and special needs. I am comfortable administering both oral and injected medications and carefully following your pet’s medication and care routine while you’re away. I share my home with cats, so I look for dogs who are comfortable around cats and respectful of feline space. Because I only take one family’s pets at a time, your dog will not be sharing the home with unfamiliar boarding dogs. This can be an especially good fit for senior dogs, shy dogs, or dogs who prefer a quieter environment. You can expect daily photo and video updates, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide boarding and daycare in a calm, structured home environment and only accept dogs from one family at a time. This allows me to give your dog my full attention and personalized care in a low-stress setting. Your dog won't be sharing the home with unfamiliar boarding dogs. Daily Care & Routine: I follow each dog’s individual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, regular walks, frequent outdoor breaks, and any specific instructions you provide. Dogs are not crated unless requested by the owner to match their normal home routine. Feline Safety & Space: I share my home with cats, so I look for dogs who are comfortable around cats and respectful of feline space. I carefully manage the living environment to maintain a peaceful and safe home for both my cats and visiting dogs. For everyone’s comfort and safety, visiting dogs must be house-trained. Peace of Mind: I require a Meet & Greet for all new clients before their first stay so we can make sure my home is a good fit for your dog. My previous experience working on Rover’s Trust & Safety team has also given me additional knowledge of pet behavior, safety awareness, and risk prevention. You can expect regular photo and video updates throughout your dog’s stay.

Pets

A typical day

I work from home, so your dog has companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. A Typical Day: Morning: We start with breakfast right on schedule, followed by a morning walk to get the day started. Throughout the Day: Your dog enjoys plenty of companionship, indoor playtime, interactive enrichment, or simply relaxing nearby while I work. Dogs are given supervised access to the areas of my home that are appropriate for them, with gates used when needed to keep them safely away from litter boxes. Dogs are not crated unless requested by the owner. Frequent potty breaks are provided throughout the day. Afternoon & Evening: We enjoy another walk, more playtime or belly rubs, dinner according to their usual home schedule, and plenty of relaxing time in the evening. Because your dog is my sole guest, I can tailor the pace of the day to their individual energy level and personality — whether they love playing fetch and staying active or prefer a quiet, peaceful retreat.

Behavioral Considerations: Please let me know about any behavioral considerations ahead of time, including reactivity toward people or other animals, anxiety, chewing, or escape tendencies. This helps me prepare appropriately and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for everyone. Senior & Medical Care: I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, special-needs pets, and dogs with detailed medical routines. Please let me know in advance about any daily medications, including oral or injectable medications, physical limitations, or special accommodations your dog needs so I can provide the appropriate care throughout their stay. House Rules: For everyone's comfort and safety, visiting dogs must be house-trained and respectful of my cats. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm always happy to help and want you to feel confident and comfortable leaving your furry family member in my care.
