About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. We are so very excited to meet your dog, and to treat them like family for their stay. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. In other words: your pup won’t be left alone often! 😆 **Please note: all pets must have proof of updated vaccines and be okay with kids (they will be loved on and spoiled by our kiddos while they’re here!) I am home daily with my kids, so lots of potty breaks and playtime is possible throughout the day. We are available most weekdays or weekends unless blocked while we have a foster or for travel. We have a 4-foot aluminum fence in the backyard and live on a public park with a walking trail for easy exercise options. We have extra dog crates here if your pup is crate-trained or feel free to bring your own.

About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and cats our entire lives. We love animals and helping out fellow animal lovers. I have experience administering insulin to diabetic animals, feeding/watering and walking. I currently work only 3 days a week and my husband works from home full-time giving us plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! Currently I work 3 days a week at a hospital in Ann Arbor but do not have a set schedule. My husband works from home full-time Pets are allowed on furniture and the bed in our home. Our yard is fenced, allowing for ample playtime outside. We currently have a 2 year old dog of our own and a 4 year old cat that is very dog friendly.

About: I have had pets all my life. Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters- you name it, we had one! While I’m not a professional, I have raised stray cats, grew up with dogs, and have 6 pets of my own (including 3 lizards). About: I have had dogs my entire life! I live in an area where there are trails to take walks on and a dog park to play at! My goal is to make sure that your pet is loved and taken care of during your time away from them! I work at a full time job, but I am off at a decent time and have plenty of time during the weekends to play, walk, and take care of your fur baby! I make sure that I get up in time to make sure that I can give about 30 minutes of play before work and that they are fed in a timely manner.

About: I have a lifetime of pet experience, including owning a boxer (IYKYK) and Boston terriers. I currently have a service dog (golden) whom I took to training for 18 months to become certified. Very responsive and will communicate often If I am home (not traveling) I am basically available all the time. I can stop in early morning, late afternoon and in the evening. About: I have dedicated my life and career to caring for dogs. I started dog sitting at 12 years old. I have cared for dogs from months old to fifteen years old. I have been certified as a basic obedience trainer, interned at a dog training company participating in classes from puppy to agility, and I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I have experience giving dogs oral medication, but I have not done any injection medications. I am looking to make this my full time job. I do have one dog of my own to care for, but other than him, my schedule is completely open to caring for your pets. I live in an apartment with a park right next to it, perfect for walking my dog and yours. I have one friendly male dog who believes all dogs want to be his best friend. He has toys littering the floor available for anyone to play with, and he has never had resource guarding behavior; if your dog has the toy he will just watch and wait his turn, or try to get another toy they can both play with. I have trained him with positive reinforcement techniques, meaning there are plenty of treats around for the good boys and girls. He is allowed on all furniture and has the choice to sleep in the human bed, which means your pup will have the same privileges. When I go to a clients home I will follow their rules to the letter. I walk their dogs before feeding or keep the pets off the furniture if that’s what they want. I want to apply the same rules to your pets when you’re out of the house so they don’t start showing any unwanted behavior.
