About: I have a 5-year old dog, Roxy, who is very sweet and loves making new dog friends. We live in a home with a fenced-in yard and about one block from a park that is great for dog walks. I can provide a large crate if needed. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I’m typically available for contact unless I’m in a meeting, but will respond soon after. Roxy gets backyard playtime and walks around the park daily. She eats one large bowl of food in the evening and also receives treats. Of course I can accommodate your dog’s schedule and needs.

“Devona recently had our dog for one overnight and we felt great piece of mind that he was in her care. This was especially important because it was his first overnight with a pet sitter since we adopted him in March. Our 9-year-old Charlie dog and Devona's dog Snoopy got along great and Devona took them on walks together and sent us pictures. We could also see in other pictures that she sent (all great photos) that Charlie was settled in at her place. She kept us posted about how Charlie was doing and when he exhibited some anxiety behaviors he hadn't shown with us yet in the short time that we've had him since March, we collaborated by text with her and she was able to help Charlie through the anxiety with a caring approach. She handled that curve ball so professionally and she was an excellent listener as we were texting. With her help she and I came up with some strategies and he settled in. Devona is patient and kind and knowledgeable. Any dog is lucky to be able to stay with Devona and her dear dog Snoopy.”

About: My name is Katie. I’m a full time dog groomer and have a lot of experience working with pets. I have been around dogs since the day I was born, never without one in my life. I grew up with two gentle giants, my parents Bouviers, Bear and Irving. I have since adopted my own dog, Sheba, a rescue from the humane society of New Mexico. I love dogs, as well as cats, and I cannot imagine my life without them. I do not offer any grooming services through Rover, but I’d be happy to set up appointments at my place of work! I look forward to hearing from you. I work four days per week, 8 hour shifts. As far as boarding, your pet will be free to roam my home while I am at work. If you prefer I kennel them, I am happy to do that as well. I will never leave my dog or any dog I am sitting alone for longer than 8 and a half hours, but they would be alone for the day while I work. For this reason, I cannot accept puppies that are currently being potty trained and I cannot accept dogs that cannot be left alone unless we discuss this prior to the booking. I have a home and can offer multiple walks per day. I do not have a yard but can ensure that each dog spends plenty of time outside.
