“Will was so great to our gal! He has a great property that is great for dogs who like to run around and kept us updated the whole time with pictures, what they did, and how our dog was doing. He was also very responsive and considerate of our dog’s needs. This was our first time using Rover and we were so impressed with how smooth the process was and how well they took care of our dog. Would highly highly recommend.”

“Great dog sitter and took wonderful care of my pups Moe and Bear. She worked so hard and even went above and beyond writing down the medication schedule for our pups!!! Thank you so much Johanna!!”

“Jermaine took good care of my 7 year old pit bull for a week. He either updated me first or answered my questions in a timely manner when I asked for updates. I also received some pictures throughout the week of my boy. Overall I had a great experience and will be using Jermaine again!”

“Jess and her entire family were amazing! We had a great experience boarding our cocker spaniel with them. They treated our puppy like one of their own. He had a great time with the kids. Jess was communicative and accommodating and we truly appreciated them taking care of Orion.”

“Daniela took wonderful care of my dog over a long boarding stay. She was communicative and she and her family treated my dog like one of their own. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: Hi there! My names Breanna. I’m looking to meet some new doggos (and other animals) to take care of on my days off! I have lots of experience working with animals. I’ve worked as a part time vet assistant, kennel tech, animal hospital receptionist, and currently a full time Rad. tech at a local hospital in addition to being a fur mama to three dogs. I have dog sat for several families in the past and would love to get back into it now that life allows me the time to do so. I currently reside in a single family home with my Jack Russel mix, bloodhound, and a frenchie (I know it’s quite the mix! LOL). I only work 3 days a week and occasional weekends which leaves me with a lot of availability to take care of your pups. In addition to being on Rover I am also registered/work through the app Wag! as a dog walker. I’m flexible with pick up and drop off with reasonable notice. I’m open to taking on any special needs or desires you may have for your dogs care while they are under my watch. I have a huge heart for animals and will gladly take yours in as my own for a few days. I’ve loved the people this app has connected me to for the sake of my own dogs safety and security when I have to go away and I would love to provide the same service to others. Message me to set up a meet and greet to see if I’m the right fit for you and your pet :) I look forward to talking to you! I work “full time” but it’s really three twelve hour days a week which allows me several days off. Open availability on most weekends :) I have a fenced in yard in addition to a designated dog area of my house with a a doggie door that connects to its own fenced in portion of my yard.

“So it was last minute; however, Lauren opened her door for me and took care of my Cayo! She was very caring and fun for Cayo. Cayo got along greatly with Lauren’s dogs and children. Cayo got plenty of playing time as well, which I’m thankful that I got many photos of! I highly recommend Lauren to provide care for your puppies as well, because I know I will be returning for her services!!! Thanks Lauren! ~ Matt & Cayo Hughes”

“Katherine was fantastic! She watched our dog Olive (3 year old mixed breed) while we went to the beach with our family. Katherine is so loving and her two dachshunds welcomed Olive right in. She’s knowledgeable about dogs and made Olive feel right at home! She sent lots of pictures and updates and we felt so relaxed knowing Olive was in a loving environment (with plenty of space to run around!)”

“Lindsay provided great care for our dog Daisy while we were away on vacation. We enjoyed all the photos of Daisy with the family and Lindsay's dog Coco playing in the large fenced in back yard. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future.”

“Best sitter! Molly had a great time running and resting at Kate’s house for the weekend. She had an extra crate for her when I forgot mine and also kept me updated with Molly’s day. I really appreciated the short turn around as my planned sitter canceled last minute and I was scrambling to find a reliable fix! Thank you Kate!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Preston home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Preston.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Preston sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
