I provide daily photos throughout your pets daily routine and tons of love I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of enough time to care for your fur baby. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. “Will was so great to our gal! He has a great property that is great for dogs who like to run around and kept us updated the whole time with pictures, what they did, and how our dog was doing. He was also very responsive and considerate of our dog’s needs. This was our first time using Rover and we were so impressed with how smooth the process was and how well they took care of our dog. Would highly highly recommend.”

“Amy is amazing. She is kind and flexible and has done amazing job caring for Kalooki. We don’t have to feel guilty about leaving her behind because she is always excited to visit and has a great time either Amy’s family and the other pets to have fun with. Amy sends great photos and videos along the way that give us insights into her daily activities and friendships. She always comes home from her “vacations” exhausted in a good way, which is the best outcome of vacations for her humans too. Highly recommend!”

“Could not have asked for a better experience. Our pup Margarita loved her stay and can't wait to come back! Lindsay is very responsive and sends lots of pictures. So happy to have found a sitter I can feel so comfortable leaving in her care. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Jeren was able to watch our new pup on short notice and did a great job. She sent daily pictures and descriptive updates. Our pup looked like she had a blast! Additionally, Jeren had no issues giving ear meds and was patient with our pup's shy nature. When we need a petsitter again, we'll be contacting Jeren first!”

“Jermaine was so accommodating for me as I book him for a last-minute work trip. Text me pictures and update as I was on my busy trip thinking of my baby girl. Definitely will utilize his services again.”

About: Hi there! My names Breanna. I’m looking to meet some new doggos (and other animals) to take care of on my days off! I have lots of experience working with animals. I’ve worked as a part time vet assistant, kennel tech, animal hospital receptionist, and currently a full time Rad. tech at a local hospital in addition to being a fur mama to three dogs. I have dog sat for several families in the past and would love to get back into it now that life allows me the time to do so. I currently reside in a single family home with my Jack Russel mix, bloodhound, and a frenchie (I know it’s quite the mix! LOL). I only work 3 days a week and occasional weekends which leaves me with a lot of availability to take care of your pups. In addition to being on Rover I am also registered/work through the app Wag! as a dog walker. I’m flexible with pick up and drop off with reasonable notice. I’m open to taking on any special needs or desires you may have for your dogs care while they are under my watch. I have a huge heart for animals and will gladly take yours in as my own for a few days. I’ve loved the people this app has connected me to for the sake of my own dogs safety and security when I have to go away and I would love to provide the same service to others. Message me to set up a meet and greet to see if I’m the right fit for you and your pet :) I look forward to talking to you! I work “full time” but it’s really three twelve hour days a week which allows me several days off. Open availability on most weekends :) I have a fenced in yard in addition to a designated dog area of my house with a a doggie door that connects to its own fenced in portion of my yard.

About: I have a genuine love for animals and take pride in providing dependable, compassionate, and personalized care for every pet I look after. I understand that every pet has different personalities, routines, and needs, and I take the time to make each one feel comfortable, safe, and loved. What sets me apart is that I treat your pets like family. I’m dependable, communicative, detail-oriented, and committed to following your instructions and maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I want you and your pets to feel completely comfortable and confident in my care. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my day and making sure each pet receives the attention and care they need. I’m reliable and organized, and I’m comfortable adjusting my routine to accommodate a pet’s individual schedule and needs. I care for pets with patience, compassion, and attention to their individual needs. In a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of love and companionship. I also respect the home by keeping things clean and providing regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
About: I grew up with family pets and spent years fostering animals before adopting a pup of my own, Lemonade (aka Lemmy). She is a little under 2 years old and loves making new friends. This is a great opportunity for your dog to come stay and play. For best care, I only take pets from one family at a time in addition to my own. I work from home full time during the weekdays, so your pet will be offered lots of play time, potty breaks, and cuddles. I also spend a lot of time home on the weekends and can provide extra quality care. I have a fully fenced front yard and my puppy Lemonade will be with me to help entertain your pet and keep them company during their stay. **Meet and greet is required before your first booking**

“Idi made us feel at home when we entered her house. Our dog, Gizzi stayed with Idi overnight, and it was obvious in his behavior that he felt at home. Idi sent us pictures of Gizzi and shared with us what he was doing. I’m excited about my vacation next week, and what will definitely give us peace is knowing that Gizzi is with Idi.”

About: For me, pet care has never been just a job—it's been a lifelong passion. I was raised in a family of professional trainers and boarders, where I learned from an early age how to properly care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. We also spent countless hours working alongside local shelters, helping dogs build confidence and prepare for their forever homes. Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience working in boarding, training assistance, behavioral rehabilitation, and pet care. In 2012, I began my career as a professional dog groomer and later became certified to groom both dogs and cats. In 2020, I became certified to train new groomers as they worked toward their professional certifications. Today, I combine all of that experience to provide a calm, loving, and individualized experience for every pet in my care. My Specialties I specialize in creating fear-free, low-stress experiences built on patience, trust, and compassion. Some of my areas of expertise include: • Fear-free handling and grooming • Trauma rehabilitation grooming for pets who cannot safely visit traditional salons due to fear, anxiety, or behavioral concerns • Senior pet care • Puppy care and socialization • Pets with medical or mobility challenges • Basic training and reinforcement of good manners • Administering medications while carefully monitoring for symptoms or side effects One of my greatest passions is helping fearful dogs learn that grooming and handling don't have to be scary. Rather than forcing pets through services, I work at their pace, building trust over time with the goal of helping them become comfortable and confident again. Many of my clients come to me after being turned away from traditional grooming salons due to behavioral or medical concerns. What Your Pet Can Expect I strive to make every stay feel like a vacation with family rather than simply boarding. Your pet may enjoy: • Daily walks (typically 2-4 per day, while following your normal routine whenever possible) • Plenty of one-on-one attention and affection • Playtime, enrichment, and exercise • Trips to the dog park (with your permission and only if appropriate for your pet) • Picture, video, and message updates throughout their stay • A calm, loving home environment where they are treated like family One unique tradition many pets come to love is bedtime story time. It may sound unusual, but quietly reading aloud has helped many anxious dogs relax before bed. I've even seen it help dogs experiencing storm anxiety or fear of loud noises settle more comfortably. Routine is incredibly important to me. If your pet has a specific schedule, feeding routine, medication plan, or bedtime ritual, I'll do everything possible to maintain it while they're in my care. Because of my experience working with behavioral and medical cases, I also pay close attention to subtle changes in your pet's behavior, mobility, appetite, and overall well-being. If I notice anything concerning, I'll communicate with you immediately and act quickly in your pet's best interest. Communication & Grooming I believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet care. The more I know about your pet's personality, routines, preferences, and medical history, the better experience I can provide. In return, you'll receive detailed updates about how they're doing, including behavior, activities, and anything I notice that may be helpful for you to know. During boarding or daycare stays, I'm also happy to reinforce basic training and offer guidance on grooming maintenance, body language, and behavioral changes that may strengthen your bond with your pet at home. Professional grooming services are available for pets staying in my care. Grooming recommendations, pricing, and service completion depend on your pet's size, coat condition, medical needs, and stress level. My philosophy is simple: I will never force a pet through a service. Their comfort, trust, and emotional well-being always come first. Booking Information To help protect my home while still providing every pet with the highest level of care, the estimated price for boarding and daycare includes a refundable cleaning/security fee. This fee is fully refunded after your pet's stay provided there is no excessive damage or extraordinary cleaning required beyond normal pet messes. I believe this allows me to continue offering a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every guest while being fair to both pet parents and my home. My goal is simple: every pet should leave my care feeling safe, loved, understood, and excited to come back. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

93% of sitters in Choptank can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
