“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I was a cat sitter during my first few years of high school. My neighbor was out of state and asked me to take care of her cat. During this time, I would visit at minimum, three times a day to make sure the cat had food and water, had some playtime, and to clean and freshen the litter box. About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my teen to adult years. I volunteered at a rescue taking care of mostly the cats. I’ve previously helped rescue kittens and dogs. I’ve always had animals around me. I’m a very big animal lover. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs and cat sit a kitten from time to time. About: Active Dog Loving Grandparents We enjoyed the pleasure of having pets our entire lives, they have brought us a sense of peace and joy and best of all unconditional love. Our best friends have been Boston Terrier’s, German Sheppard’s, American Bulldogs and Boxers. They are all unique in their personalities but all love to be loved, just like us. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. During boarding or daycare stays, I'm also happy to reinforce basic training and offer guidance on grooming maintenance, body language, and behavioral changes that may strengthen your bond with your pet at home. Professional grooming services are available for pets staying in my care. Grooming recommendations, pricing, and service completion depend on your pet's size, coat condition, medical needs, and stress level. My philosophy is simple: I will never force a pet through a service. Their comfort, trust, and emotional well-being always come first. Booking Information To help protect my home while still providing every pet with the highest level of care, the estimated price for boarding and daycare includes a refundable cleaning/security fee. This fee is fully refunded after your pet's stay provided there is no excessive damage or extraordinary cleaning required beyond normal pet messes. I believe this allows me to continue offering a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every guest while being fair to both pet parents and my home. My goal is simple: every pet should leave my care feeling safe, loved, understood, and excited to come back. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

I have potty trained my own dogs and have helped friends potty train as well. I'm comfortable with bathing, brushing, feeding, walking, and interacting with dogs. I have worked with special needs dogs and am comfortable changing their diapers, applying creams and ointments, and applying wraps or bandages if needed. I'm comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and brushing cats. I've also taken care of small reptiles like bearded dragons and geckos, as well as birds like cockatiels and parakeets. I just moved to the area and have flexible availability. I am available for drop ins and walks throughout the day. No time is too early or too late. I'm open to last minute drop ins or walks as long as it is communicated. I'm great at sticking to your pets eating schedule as well as establishing routines if needed. I'm able to clean up after your pet, feed them, interact with them, and stimulate their brain as well.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my teen to adult years. I volunteered at a rescue taking care of mostly the cats. I’ve previously helped rescue kittens and dogs. I’ve always had animals around me. I’m a very big animal lover. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs and cat sit a kitten from time to time. About: Before joining Rover I mainly provided my services through word of mouth.
