“Will was so great to our gal! He has a great property that is great for dogs who like to run around and kept us updated the whole time with pictures, what they did, and how our dog was doing. He was also very responsive and considerate of our dog’s needs. This was our first time using Rover and we were so impressed with how smooth the process was and how well they took care of our dog. Would highly highly recommend.”

“Lindsay was great!!! She was punctual, pleasant, and took great care of my two dogs! They played, enjoyed her kids, loved playing with her dog in the huge fenced yard… I couldn’t have chosen more wisely! Thank you Lindsay!”

“She was wonderful with Aries and gave me updates the whole week I was away we felt great about leaving Aries. She is the best dog sitter by far and I definitely will be bringing Aries back. If you have a pet she is the one you want to watch over she plays with them give them good snacks all around great person we definitely will be back and thank you !!!!”

“Kate was great at communicating and keeping me updated about my kitty and my dog. She extended my their stay twice at my request. And her daughter's provided lots of love and attention.”

“From the moment of the meet and greet I felt good about Julie and her wonderful family. They took to my "lil" girl right away. Sent plenty of great pics and I felt relieved and grateful for finding them. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again. A true pleasure to have them babysit for us.”

“jermaine was AWESOME especially me being last minute with my request. As fast as the world is moving and advancing going on an app and having someone dog sit your dog i was so skeptical! but jermaine was responsive to all my text and calls and ensured me with photos that my boy was ok which was a huge relief . Most definitely will be using jermaine again. !!”

“So it was last minute; however, Lauren opened her door for me and took care of my Cayo! She was very caring and fun for Cayo. Cayo got along greatly with Lauren’s dogs and children. Cayo got plenty of playing time as well, which I’m thankful that I got many photos of! I highly recommend Lauren to provide care for your puppies as well, because I know I will be returning for her services!!! Thanks Lauren! ~ Matt & Cayo Hughes”

“We couldn’t be happier with Stephanie! She took amazing care of our dog, Oliver, while we were away, and we felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in great hands. She sent regular updates, including adorable photos and videos, which made us feel connected even from miles away. Beyond providing excellent care, Stephanie truly bonded with Oliver and made sure he got plenty of playtime, snuggles, and attention. We highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again 😊”

“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“Laura was awesome! Chacco had a blast during his weekend sleepover and loved hanging out with the other pups. She took great care of him, and I felt totally at ease knowing he was in good hands. He came home happy and tired—always a good sign! Definitely booking with her again.”

About: Hi there! My names Breanna. I’m looking to meet some new doggos (and other animals) to take care of on my days off! I have lots of experience working with animals. I’ve worked as a part time vet assistant, kennel tech, animal hospital receptionist, and currently a full time Rad. tech at a local hospital in addition to being a fur mama to three dogs. I have dog sat for several families in the past and would love to get back into it now that life allows me the time to do so. I currently reside in a single family home with my Jack Russel mix, bloodhound, and a frenchie (I know it’s quite the mix! LOL). I only work 3 days a week and occasional weekends which leaves me with a lot of availability to take care of your pups. In addition to being on Rover I am also registered/work through the app Wag! as a dog walker. I’m flexible with pick up and drop off with reasonable notice. I’m open to taking on any special needs or desires you may have for your dogs care while they are under my watch. I have a huge heart for animals and will gladly take yours in as my own for a few days. I’ve loved the people this app has connected me to for the sake of my own dogs safety and security when I have to go away and I would love to provide the same service to others. Message me to set up a meet and greet to see if I’m the right fit for you and your pet :) I look forward to talking to you! I work “full time” but it’s really three twelve hour days a week which allows me several days off. Open availability on most weekends :) I have a fenced in yard in addition to a designated dog area of my house with a a doggie door that connects to its own fenced in portion of my yard.
About: I grew up with family pets and spent years fostering animals before adopting a pup of my own, Lemonade (aka Lemmy). She is a little under 2 years old and loves making new friends. This is a great opportunity for your dog to come stay and play. For best care, I only take pets from one family at a time in addition to my own. I work from home full time during the weekdays, so your pet will be offered lots of play time, potty breaks, and cuddles. I also spend a lot of time home on the weekends and can provide extra quality care. I have a fully fenced front yard and my puppy Lemonade will be with me to help entertain your pet and keep them company during their stay. **Meet and greet is required before your first booking**
“They were absolutely amazing with Nellie. We couldn't of have had a better experience. Nellie enjoyed her time with them and they treated her very well. It was our first time leaving Nellie with anyone and the random updates on her with pictures and videos helped ease our minds during our time away. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for pet care/boarding.”

“If you're looking for someone to care for your fur baby like their very own, look no further than Kristi — she is absolutely wonderful! I entrusted Kristi with my dog Maize, and I couldn't have made a better decision. Kristi didn't just watch Maize — she completely spoiled her! Maize had what I can only describe as a little mini vacation, and I think she may have enjoyed herself more than we did on our trip! What truly sets Kristi apart is how thoughtful and communicative she is. She kept us well informed throughout the entire stay, sending the most adorable pictures that gave us total peace of mind. There's nothing better than seeing your pup happy, comfortable, and clearly being showered with love while you're away. I highly recommend Kristi to anyone who wants their pet to be in the most caring, attentive hands possible. You'll leave knowing your fur baby is safe, loved, and maybe a little spoiled — and you'll actually be able to relax and enjoy your time away. We are so grateful for Kristi and will absolutely be booking with her again! 🐾”

About: As a proud dog mom to my own rescue pup, I know firsthand that dogs are more than just pets—they're family! 🐾❤️ I absolutely adore my dog and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member. I have a genuine love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities! I also have hands-on experience volunteering at the Humane Society, where I walked and cared for dogs with a variety of temperaments, energy levels, and individual needs. In addition to providing everyday care, I have experience administering medications and giving injections, allowing me to confidently care for dogs who may require a little extra attention or have specific medical needs. I understand the importance of following instructions carefully, maintaining routines, and ensuring every pup receives safe, attentive, and compassionate care. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a drop-in visit filled with playtime and cuddles, or a comfortable home away from home while you're traveling, I'd love to help! I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make each one feel safe, happy, and loved. My goal is simple: to treat every dog as if they were my own! I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member and provide you with peace of mind knowing they're in loving, capable hands. 🐶💕 I work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and be present throughout the day to provide attentive, personalized care. My own dog gets exercise at least three times a day, whether that's going on walks, enjoying outdoor playtime, or participating in activities to keep her physically and mentally stimulated. Because I'm home throughout the day, I'm able to accommodate frequent potty breaks, feeding schedules, medication needs, and plenty of companionship. I love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged while also making sure they have time to relax and feel comfortable. Whether your pup is staying with me or needs walks or drop-in visits, I'll treat them like part of the family and make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own dog! My home is a welcoming, dog-friendly environment where your pup will be treated like part of the family! 🐾❤️ I have a spacious yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, and burn off energy. I also live in a beautiful waterfront neighborhood, which provides wonderful opportunities for scenic walks and even swimming for pups who enjoy the water (with owner permission and close supervision, of course!). I have a friendly, playful rescue dog of my own who absolutely loves meeting new dogs and making furry friends! She enjoys having a playmate, and I always prioritize safe, positive introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Dogs are family in my home, which means they're more than welcome on the furniture for plenty of snuggles and relaxation! I want your pup to feel just as loved and comfortable as they do in their own home. Safety is always my top priority. I always feed dogs separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and I never leave dogs together unattended, regardless of how well they get along. I carefully supervise playtime, respect each dog's individual boundaries, and provide separate spaces when needed. Since I work from home, I'm able to offer plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. For walks and drop-in visits at your home, I make sure to follow your dog's established routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication administration, and any special instructions. I understand how important consistency is, especially when you're away! My goal is to provide a safe, fun, loving, and stress-free experience for every dog in my care while giving you complete peace of mind! 🐶💕
“Leann took great care of Cooper. Kept up updated, sent pictures and even let him sleep with her because that's what he does at home with my kids. Thank you again for taking care of our pup ❤️”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lloyd Landing home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lloyd Landing.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lloyd Landing sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
