“We highly recommend Jose as a dog / house sitter! We hadn’t been able to travel for a while after moving to the area because we no longer had a trusted dog sitter nearby. Boarding facilities never felt like the right fit for our three huskies, so we decided to try a house sitter through Rover. After interviewing several sitters, Jose stood out as the best fit and he absolutely proved us right. Caring for three huskies is no easy task (any husky owner knows about the pulling, high energy, strong personalities, and quirks), but Jose handled them wonderfully. He sent us lots of photo updates, and it was clear from the pictures that the pups were happy and excited. He was very communicative and always on time. If he was ever running behind, he let us know right away. He followed all of our rules and suggestions, made sure the dogs got their energy out, timed their walks around the summer heat, and kept them safe and cared for. On top of that, Jose went above and beyond by watering our plants, keeping the house clean and tidy, and being flexible when we asked if he could extend his stay by an extra day at the last minute. We came home to happy pups and a spotless house. We would absolutely love to have Jose watch our dogs again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and caring sitter for their furry family members.”

“Elle was terrific! We needed care for our 2 dogs while we were gone to wedding. She came over and met us and the dogs ahead of time. The dogs loved her right off. She has a caring personality and they loved that... One of our dogs is a senior diabetic that needs shots. Elly was more than willing to handle that as well as the pills they needed. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how it was going. Everything went well and we plan to request her in the near future. So glad to have someone that we trust with their care.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have volunteered at an animal shelter where I socialized puppies and cats. Animals have always been very comfortable around me and vice versa. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and breeds. I care very deeply for animals and would love to help you ensure your dogs are getting the exercise and attention they need. I graduated college with a major in veterinary technology at TJC, and currently work as a veterinary technician. I do have a full time job at a veterinary clinic with my days and hours varying. Typically I work 5 days a week with a max of 8 hours a day. Due to this I am unable to be with your pet at all times but would love to spend my free time with them! I make sure to stay in close proximity to the animal and keep a close eye on them while playing with toys to prevent any injury. I am very knowledge on what kinds of things are toxic to both cats and dogs and am able to pick up on signs of possible varying illnesses.

About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life and have been walking and caring for friends and family's dogs for years. I know how to give each pup the attention and exercise they need. My daily routine is very flexible. I'm available every morning and evening for walks, and I build my whole schedule around your dog's needs. Whether it's a quick potty break or a longer adventure, I'll make sure your pup gets the exercise and attention they need. I always care for pets in the client's home. I follow any special instructions you give me, keep your house clean, and make sure all doors and gates are securely closed before I leave. Your pet's safety and your home are my top priority.

I’m new to Rover but I have taken care of dogs since I was 8. I have 6 dogs at home and volunteer at a Humane Society, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I love animals and wish to help you with walking, check-in’s, or house-sitting. I can also help you with whatever responsibilities you wish for me to take care of while you are away! I'm currently on break, so I will have plenty of time to care of your pets. I'm available on weekdays and weekends between any reasonable times, just check my availability for any updates. Your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. I will treat them like my own pet and will carefully follow any instructions left to keep your pet comfortable. I know trust is important so I can provide regular photos and updates.
