“We highly recommend Jose as a dog / house sitter! We hadn’t been able to travel for a while after moving to the area because we no longer had a trusted dog sitter nearby. Boarding facilities never felt like the right fit for our three huskies, so we decided to try a house sitter through Rover. After interviewing several sitters, Jose stood out as the best fit and he absolutely proved us right. Caring for three huskies is no easy task (any husky owner knows about the pulling, high energy, strong personalities, and quirks), but Jose handled them wonderfully. He sent us lots of photo updates, and it was clear from the pictures that the pups were happy and excited. He was very communicative and always on time. If he was ever running behind, he let us know right away. He followed all of our rules and suggestions, made sure the dogs got their energy out, timed their walks around the summer heat, and kept them safe and cared for. On top of that, Jose went above and beyond by watering our plants, keeping the house clean and tidy, and being flexible when we asked if he could extend his stay by an extra day at the last minute. We came home to happy pups and a spotless house. About: I have experience good experience with cats and dogs. I’ve had a wide range of dog breeds from small to large. I am experienced with giving medication, wound care, veterinarian visits, training, raising from pup/kitten age, and just gaining overall knowledge of pet behaviors. I am a college student looking for a job when I’m available. I am only taking one class this semester and have a lot more time to take on these tasks. I am the primary caretaker of our pets. I have a dog and a cat currently, with my cat requiring medication several times a day. I am strict with what they need and will stick well with the routine any pet owner requires of me for their animals.

About: I have cared for pets specifically Pit bulls since I was 8. Over the span of 12 years I have cared for seven Pit bulls; Also known as American terriers. I specifically highlight I have cared for pit bulls because I know people and society tend to shy away from this breed and attach a negative perception. I am more than willing to care for your pit and can handle just about everything. I have cared for super active, young pups to the senior dog who sleeps all day. I have also learned how to train and teach them how to sit, stay, hand commands and potty train. My dogs have since passed away and I no longer own any dogs. I learned so much about Pit bulls and of course dog needs that have helped me in other areas of my life both professionally and personally. I absolutely adore them and all breeds and will be super enthused to care for your pet and their needs! I am mostly available to care for your pet during the weekends but I am also available early in the morning, evening and night during the weekdays. I attend university so I am mostly home if I am not at school. I live in a quiet neighborhood. Also, if your dog were to stay at my home there is plenty of room for play and rest in my large backyard!

About: I’ve grown up around animals all my life and even volunteered at an animal shelter for six months before adopting a few of the residents. I love walking, feeding, playing with dogs, and all the other that comes with it. I’m also a big cat person and have helped bottle feed kittens up to only a few day old! I currently only work at night and typically on the weekends, so I’ll have a pretty flexible schedule. All of my classes for school are currently online!
