Boarding facilities never felt like the right fit for our three huskies, so we decided to try a house sitter through Rover. Caring for three huskies is no easy task (any husky owner knows about the pulling, high energy, strong personalities, and quirks), but Jose handled them wonderfully. He sent us lots of photo updates, and it was clear from the pictures that the pups were happy and excited. He was very communicative and always on time. If he was ever running behind, he let us know right away. He followed all of our rules and suggestions, made sure the dogs got their energy out, timed their walks around the summer heat, and kept them safe and cared for. On top of that, Jose went above and beyond by watering our plants, keeping the house clean and tidy, and being flexible when we asked if he could extend his stay by an extra day at the last minute. We came home to happy pups and a spotless house. We would absolutely love to have Jose watch our dogs again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and caring sitter for their furry family members.”

I’m new to Rover but I have taken care of dogs since I was 8. I have 6 dogs at home and volunteer at a Humane Society, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I love animals and wish to help you with walking, check-in’s, or house-sitting. I can also help you with whatever responsibilities you wish for me to take care of while you are away! I will make sure they have food on schedule, fresh water, playtime, as well as attention. Any specific instructions given by the owner will be tended to, I will also make sure photos and updates are sent in order to keep a peace of mind with leaving your pets in my care :)
