About: I have always had pets growing up as a child. My mother and father were both professional dog trainers so I’ve gained much knowledge on how to properly care for dogs specifically. My love for animals has grown into my adulthood even more than ever. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. I’ve owned and raised many different types of breeds such as Rottweilers, golden retrievers, king cavaliers, Chinese Shar-pei, poodles, and the list goes on. “We highly recommend Jose as a dog / house sitter! We hadn’t been able to travel for a while after moving to the area because we no longer had a trusted dog sitter nearby. Boarding facilities never felt like the right fit for our three huskies, so we decided to try a house sitter through Rover. Caring for three huskies is no easy task (any husky owner knows about the pulling, high energy, strong personalities, and quirks), but Jose handled them wonderfully. He sent us lots of photo updates, and it was clear from the pictures that the pups were happy and excited. He was very communicative and always on time. If he was ever running behind, he let us know right away. He followed all of our rules and suggestions, made sure the dogs got their energy out, timed their walks around the summer heat, and kept them safe and cared for. On top of that, Jose went above and beyond by watering our plants, keeping the house clean and tidy, and being flexible when we asked if he could extend his stay by an extra day at the last minute. I’m free after 1 pm on weekdays and wide open on weekends, so your pet gets plenty of attention whenever you need it. About: I am a former vet tech, loving dog mom, and amateur trainer. I can provide your dog with a safe place, lots of cuddles and a little training (especially for.minor behavior issues), and a crazy pack of dogs to play with! I can easily handle daily oral medications, even for stubborn dogs who think they're sneaky. I can also handle subq and IM injections. I believe in high quality food, plenty of fresh clean water, and of course snacks. I can offer some light grooming, brushing, baths, ear cleaning and basic nail trims/grinding. But no clipping, trust me on that one. I am currently home full time, so I am available to care for your dog Monday through Friday. I already have my crazy pack to take care of every day, starting with structured morning feedings. One more set of paws for a day is just another dog to love. I have a fenced yard, but for the most part, my dogs, and yours, stay inside with me. Mine are family after all, and yours is a VIP guest!

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have volunteered at an animal shelter where I socialized puppies and cats. Animals have always been very comfortable around me and vice versa. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and breeds. I care very deeply for animals and would love to help you ensure your dogs are getting the exercise and attention they need. I graduated college with a major in veterinary technology at TJC, and currently work as a veterinary technician. I do have a full time job at a veterinary clinic with my days and hours varying. Typically I work 5 days a week with a max of 8 hours a day. Due to this I am unable to be with your pet at all times but would love to spend my free time with them! I make sure to stay in close proximity to the animal and keep a close eye on them while playing with toys to prevent any injury. I am very knowledge on what kinds of things are toxic to both cats and dogs and am able to pick up on signs of possible varying illnesses.

Leaving my dog home during trips is difficult for me and I’m always a bit worried not just for my very anxious dog, but for the sitter in her care (it’s not for the weak). I appreciate how much attention to detail Jennifer requests and takes into consideration. With my dog being more needy and requiring medication, I can trust that Jennifer is able to handle my baby’s quirks with care, patience, and expertise.
