“She was very responsive and flexible, and she was very good with my pets including my bunny. She took her time to make sure they are doing okay. I really enjoy updates from her with pictures and comments. It was very good to hear how they were doing while we are away.”

Shakira R.
“When I think of animal people, my old roommate Shakira is one of the people who quickly comes to mind! She has been so loving and warm with my three pit bulls. Sometimes I’d be too busy at work and school , and she would do me the favor of feeding them and walking them. Once in a while when it was hot she would give them showers so they could stay cool during the hot summers. I really appreciate her warmth and her care for them. Anyone who seeks out Shakira’s services would be fortunate and confident that their pets are in good hands.”

Alexa S.

“Great job by Alexa. She was prompt and thorough. Alexa kept our critters safe, socialized, and fed. It is nice to know we can find great care for our critters here on Rover. She even takes care of our former pet caretakers pets. She comes highly recommended. Thanks Alexa!”

Megan R.

“Megan goes above and beyond! Our dog could instantly tell she was a kind, loving, new friend! So thankful we found her and are looking forward to booking again soon!”

Samantha R.

“Amazing sitter took care of my babies when I was gone for a festival weekend, I would book again!”

Tijera E.

“Tijera is incredible!! She checked in on my cat twice a day for 9 days while I was on family vacation. I booked her fairly last minute, and appreciated her flexibility. She is very communicative, responsible, trustworthy, and friendly. She kept me updated on my little guy before and after every visit. She was detail oriented and went above and beyond in taking care of all his needs (Breakfast+Dinner, water, clean litter, treats, cuddles). I would definitely book her again and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is passionate about animals!❤️”

About: I love to brush the dogs, and take to dog park. I spoil the dogs and give them attention. I have a dachshund that enjoys making friends. Your dogs will enjoy time with me and I will give them all the love and care that they need. I have always watched cats overnight feeding them and playing with them. I also can keep an eye on hamster or bird if needed. Whatever your needs are for your pet I can take care of them. If I can take them to the dog park I am also willing to do that for anyone whos dog needs care also. It is important for dogs to get lots of exercise each day and healthy food. Dogs are awesome

About: I grew up with pets in the home and have always been an animal lover! I have experience with young and elderly pets, and can administer medication if needed. I am a student and a part time employee, I'm free most weekdays after 4:00pm and all day during the weekends. I'll make sure to communicate with you so we can plan for the best care. I will always have time to play with your animals, not just give the necessary care. Since I'm not able to take your animals to my place, I like to make sure they are comfortable with a new person in your home by having a meeting beforehand if possible.

Valerie P.

“Valerie was amazing! She responded not 5 minutes after I opened a line of contact, for a very last minute puppy check in, and was communative throughout. She updated my pups pee breaks and cuddled and played with them, and posted adorable pics of them being so obviously loved by her. Would definitely trust her with my pups anytime and I will undoubtedly hire her in the future! Thank you so much Valerie!”

Angelina S.

“Angelina watched three of my cats for over a week and did a great job. She sent pictures, cleaned up the litterboxes, and spent time with them while I was gone. I am very appreciative of her work.”

Ayla-Lynnette S.

“Ayla-Lynnette graciously accepted my last minute request for her to take care of my cats while I was gone on vacation with my husband. She was easygoing, flexible, knowledgeable, and understanding. I would definitely book her again.”

Casey P.

“Casey was so detailed when caring for our dogs. She really went above and beyond. You can definitely tell she is a dog person. I’m really glad we found someone trustworthy and reliable to care for our 3 dogs and we’ll be using her when we go away again.”

AnaMaree B.

“AnaMaree has been wonderful with my pups! They are so happy to see her and even my anxious pup now asks her for cuddles when he sees her. She’s amazing and I look forward to having her continue caring for my pups.”

Arica H.
“I recently had Arica care for my furry little friend while I was on a business trip. She provided exceptional care and attention for my precious COVID pup (who barks at everybody since she hasn't left the house much). She ensured my pet was happy, healthy, and even accommodated my demanding requests with a smile. My pup and I are not the easiest to deal with, but Arica handled everything (the way I would have) and even made me laugh a few times with her quirky updates. It's not often that you find someone willing to put up with your eccentricities, but Arica did so effortlessly. If you're searching for a pet caregiver who is both exceptional at their job and has a great sense of humor, look no further than this remarkable individual. I can't recommend them highly enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Rosa G.
“Rosa has been amazing with my 2 almost 3 year old German shorthaired pointer. Rosa has watched her since she was a baby whenever we would have to leave out of town. She is professional and reliable but also experienced when it comes to an enteric and overly attached dog that has separation anxiety. I would highly recommend Rosa as your pets caretaker.”

Kimberly W.

“Kimberly was my first sitter since I joined Rover. She is an amazing and kind-hearted sitter. We met in person (meet and greet) before she took care of my fur babies, and you can tell she has a lot of love and care for animals. I had a lot of concerns and worries before I left for my trip and instructed Kimberly on everything I needed for my babies, and she did a 110% job. I also loved how she took pictures of my babies and sent them on Rover to see how they were doing after each visit. I would book Kimberly again in the future! Thank you”

About: I have always loved animals above everything else and was lucky enough to experience having pets from age 6. I started out by taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, cats, dogs, etc. I've read many books, researched, and learned from the most experienced about how to train and care for different types of animals, especially dogs and cats. I have around 11 years of experience with cats and dogs, from the moment they were born to their senior years. Currently, I have two dogs, A 6-year-old husky named Leo (the one in my profile picture) and a 9-year-old labrador mix named Eva. I have trained and cared for both of them fully myself. I have also done volunteer work in shelters and have taken care of many other pets for my friends and family. I currently have a flexible part-time job that gives me a lot of free time to spend doing what I love most, being with animals! First, I always ask my clients if they have specific instructions or routines that they would like me to follow, whether it's in my house or theirs. I make sure that I know and do exactly as the clients ask to make sure the experience is easy and comfortable, for both the client and their lovely pet. I have two dogs of my own to welcome and accompany their pet in my house, I am also able to have them in separate spaces if the client prefers. I have many toys and treats in my house to keep them occupied and happy, and most importantly my unwavering love and attention! I also have a fenced yard in which they can run and play freely and there is also a couch specially arranged for them to rest and enjoy.

About: I’ve been taking care of family cats since I was 5, and got my first dog Cashew when I was 9. I’ve grown up helping my parents house sit and have done so myself the past few years for people with both dogs and cats. I also have experience with reptiles, having a childhood bearded dragon that lived to 14 under my care. My one dog Cashew is now 17 and loves behind the ear scratches. My friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs and cats for days or even weeks at a time. I’m currently a full time business administration student at UCR, however classes won’t resume until September. Until then my availability is open as I am working on my own projects and various odd jobs over the summer. I have personally cared for family pets all my life, while mostly cats, the one dog Cashew is extremely friendly and well behaved, while being a bit sleepy at 17. I will follow any instructions given, each pet is unique and is comfortable with different things. I’ve been told I am good with hyper dogs and calming them down. I’ve grown up herding cats so dogs are usually much easier.
