About: 15 years of animal experience, grew up with 2 labs, a pomeranian and most recently a cat. Experience giving animals medicine orally, walking, and playing. Currently unemployed to deal with some health issues, so I can be available whenever needed. Right now I assist with my sister's two anxious cats I understand that trust is essential when it comes to caring for pets, I promise to respect their boundaries and take things slowly if needed.

About: I’ve grown up around animals all my life and even volunteered at an animal shelter for six months before adopting a few of the residents. I love walking, feeding, playing with dogs, and all the other that comes with it. I’m also a big cat person and have helped bottle feed kittens up to only a few day old! I currently only work at night and typically on the weekends, so I’ll have a pretty flexible schedule. All of my classes for school are currently online! About: I have been surrounded by pets all my life whether it’s family, family friend, or friend’s pets, they’ve all loved me. I am also on top with my communication and very responsive so it will be a bonus to get good updates with your furball ! I have a cat that I take care of everyday; Properly fed, played, and cuddly with. I have a lot time spent with my cat and my availability is very open as I spend a lot of time being home. I take care of pets by following directions from owners, feeding them properly, providing them good attention, and will be able to communicate all the time about pets. I love taking pictures too so you can get cute pictures of your pets!

About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

About: I’m a PhD student with long periods of studying/working from home that allows me to use to spend this extra time caring for cats meanwhile caring for my own cat as well! I am available for drop in visits and house-sitting. I live close to my school which allows me more time at home and the nature of my job allows me the flexibility to be at home more often than a traditional 9-5. I’ll make sure to take care of basic necessities like food/water and playtime as well as any messes that spring up each day. I’ll be sure to take note of any special requests as well within reason!

I love animals and wish to help you with walking, check-in’s, or house-sitting. I can also help you with whatever responsibilities you wish for me to take care of while you are away! I'm currently on break, so I will have plenty of time to care of your pets. I'm available on weekdays and weekends between any reasonable times, just check my availability for any updates.
