About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. In fact, I took my very first steps with a Rottweiler named Oso by my side! Growing up around these large breeds has helped me plenty with hands-on experience and confidence with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Over the years, I’ve cared for and loved several dogs, including a German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and currently a Malinois mix and two husky mixes. I’m very familiar with the energy, exercise needs, and unique personalities that come with active breeds. While I have lots of experience with larger dogs, I absolutely adore small dogs too. I want make sure that every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient with shy or timid pups and always take the time to earn their trust at their own pace. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, running around, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’m their new best friend ☺️. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for my pets. I wake up around 6:30am every morning to let my chickens out of the coop so they can free roam through my backyard. I feed my starling, cockatiel and pigeon each separate diets. My cats eat dry food in the morning and wet food at night. My chickens go back in the coop at 6pm and I collect all the eggs they laid that day. The chickens get treats like blueberries and feeder fish throughout the day. I do not clip my birds wings so they are free to fly around the house and my cats are friendly to them. My yard is fenced off for my chickens to free roam during the day and I have 2 friendly cats that live in my backyard that catch rats and mice but are friendly to birds.

Now I'm able to give them early morning walks and free up the rest of my day! When it comes to walking, I have a strict harness and lead leash policy, in which the harness leash is attached around my waist and the lead leash is snug around the pups neck and riding high near the ears. This ensures that your pup stays attentive during the first few walks so that we can learn how communicate with each other. Once good habits are established, I'll move into loose leash walking.

About: I have experience good experience with cats and dogs. I’ve had a wide range of dog breeds from small to large. I am experienced with giving medication, wound care, veterinarian visits, training, raising from pup/kitten age, and just gaining overall knowledge of pet behaviors. I am a college student looking for a job when I’m available. I am only taking one class this semester and have a lot more time to take on these tasks. I am the primary caretaker of our pets. I have a dog and a cat currently, with my cat requiring medication several times a day. I am strict with what they need and will stick well with the routine any pet owner requires of me for their animals.
