About: When it comes to pet care, I am an expert! I had worked as an AKC certified dog trainer for a little over a year, specializing in basic obedience training. I then moved on to P.A.W.S. of Tinely Park, a no-kill animal shelter. There I took care of 40+ dogs a day and, when I had the time, would also help out with the cats. I had been there over two years. Then I moved on to vet med as a vet assistant for cat/dog med but also worked in specialized exotics med for over 3 years. I feel this shows that I do well with animals that tend to be nervous, anxious, skidish, and fearful. I pride myself on knowing how to pick up on how your pet is feeling and adjusting my interactions accordingly. It might be worth mentioning that I have worked with dogs of all stress and anxiety levels in the past but have never once been injured. Proper handling is very important to me. Not only am I experienced with cats and dogs, but I have kept and worked with exotics as well! Such as small mammals (like: rabbits, chinchillas, mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, hedgehogs, etc.), birds, reptiles of both non venomous snake and lizard varieties, certain amphibians, tarantulas, and fresh water fish! So pets of all kind I am very open to. I also feel I should add that I have been using this app for a few years now and seem to have built up a great reputation for myself. Fenced yards are a plus but I have taken care of dogs that have alternative styles of containment. I keep a watchful eye regardless of situation. About: Hi, I’m Selena! Im a Certified Veterinary Technician based in Chicago. I have four years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine (special needs pets are welcome!!) I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to tend to your fur babies! Mornings or evenings, doesn’t matter. Available weekends as well. I have a five year old shiba inu of my own who loves meeting new pals. Fenced in yard if needed. Slip leashes will be provided as I believe retractable leashes do not provide the best security. Treats given for positive reinforcement! (w your permission of course).

About: I absolutely adore all animals, dogs in particular! I've been taking care of dogs of my family and friends for a good 6 years now and I find it very rewarding and just enjoy it overall. Hanging out and taking care of dogs is already a plus, but to get paid is definitely a major bonus. I welcome most if not all dog types and will make sure they fit right in at home and be as comfortable as they can. I like to establish a good amount of trust with my fellow furry friends, just to keep things running smoothly for me, the clients, and of course the doggos too! About: My mothers has had multiple dogs for as long as I can remember. I love caring for animals in all situations. I’ve taken care of teeny tiny babies and huge old dogs as well. From super hyper- to the laziest of dogs. I am working part time mornings only and I have plenty of time to help you look after your babies. I’m home a majority of the time so this will be no problem. Plus I have my own fur baby that I’m taking care of anyway. I have a huge backyard that my dog loves to run around in( fenced of course). I also have a crate that I don’t use any longer but I can pull it out of storage if need be.
