It was so good to know our girl was loved and cared for while we were away.”

“Erin and her family were marvelous! She came through for me at the last minute the first time for a five day stretch with my 15 year old dog. About: I have over 25 years experience taking care of all breeds of dogs, cats, lizards, fish and just about anything else you can think of. Whether you have a senior or special needs fur baby, one with a lot of extra energy or if you'd just like your fur-kid to have some extra attention while you're at work or away, I'm open to whatever their needs are and taking care of them. I am self employed so I make my own schedule. Therefore I'm available to work around daily walks, play times, feedings or whatever is needed. I am open to doing whatever you recommend when staying in your home. I find it's easier on them when very little changes while you're gone, so I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible.
“William did such an excellent job watching our Loala girl! She had tons of playtime, walks, and looked so happy and comfortable the entire time. William kept us updated with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We didn't have to worry one bit! Thank you for taking such great care of her — we'll definitely be booking with you again next time we're in town!”

“Sarah was wonderful. Walter can be anxious and he seemed to do just fine, on short notice too! Sarah was communicative and flexible. I appreciated the short notice availability.”

About: I used to help out a family friend with her dog sitting business, and have experience with taking care of all types of dogs. From little to small, cats or dogs I am very adaptable to what each pet needs. I'm a caring person and I would go out of my way to make sure a dog is happy. I pride myself on being reliable and punctual while updating pet parents with photos and reports after every visit. I treat your pets and your home with the utmost care and respect. Growing up I have had a dog with three legs, so I have learned how to take care of dogs that may need extra care and I love to figure out how to make a pet feel comfortable and safe, as well as have fun. I have experience with training puppies, as well as taking care of older pets that may need medications. I’m happy to provide walks to play sessions, as well as watering plants or taking in mail to ensure your home is secure while you’re away. Im currently working close to full time, but I have flexible hours to fit the needs of when to stop by to take care of your pets. It’s healthcare so my schedule tends to change quite often and sometimes I end up with days off during the week. I can do morning or night visits, as well as day ones during the weekend. I do have a dog of my own so my ability to stay overnight can vary but I’m always willing to board a dog that is friendly. I can easily help with crating your dog if that is needed, I crate my dog that I have at home. I’m willing to go out of my way to make your dog comfortable with me and will take the time to ensure trust. I am willing to take your pet for a long walk or spend time with them to make them feel less lonely.

“Natasha is AMAZING!!! We had a last minute conflict and needed someone on short notice. She obliged and set up a meet and greet for our boy. I know 110% that he couldn’t have been in better care. He was comfortable and felt safe and it was most certainly evident through the pictures sent to us. Her and her husband were very attentive and caring and it’s very comforting to know that our boy has a new home away from home❤️ Our boy loved being taken care with her.”

David was absolutely wonderful! He was responsive, took excellent care of my pup by taking her on long walks on the beautiful Spanish Moss Trail, gave her attention including administering her medication, and sent photos and videos. He was one of the best pup sitters I have had and highly recommend him. I will definitely be using David again. Thank you David for your loving care of our fur baby!

Erin and her family were marvelous! She came through for me at the last minute the first time for a five day stretch with my 15 year old dog. Bill was wonderful. I have never left Daisy with anyone except my Dad, and was worried about how she would do. Bill sent reports and pictures daily and Daisy seemed very comfortable and content. I was happy that he did walks and doggie park. She had some issues with accidents and he was great at problem solving. I would recommend him to anyone. It was clear from the very beginning that she liked him....and didn't even look back at me as he led her inside. Definitely check his availability.
Caroline was awesome to work with! She took great care of our dog at her place for a 5-night trip. She was super responsive, which made it easy for us to set everything up, as well as while we were gone. She was very receptive to whatever we wanted for our dog and sent us updates and photos every day. She clearly loves dogs and ours had such a great time with her!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
