“I have truly lost count at how many times Leayn has cared for our girls, and I won’t be able to count how many more times I’ll leave them in her incredible hands! She treats and loves them like her own to the point that they sulk for HOURS when they come home because they didn’t want to leave her! No praise will ever be high enough. I don’t stress, worry, or even think about the girls when I’m out of town anymore — I know she’s got em.”

“Hannah was great. She watched Maverick for several days and sent multiple pictures each day. Maverick was worn out from playing with her pups. Will definitely use her again!”

“Taylor and her family did an outstanding job taking care of my dog Bailey. I loved that she continuously sent me pictures of my dog at his very special moments. Taylor was also very flexible and accommodated Bailey’s special diet. I will definitely leave Bailey with Taylor next time I’m out of Town.”

“The first time I met Melissa, I knew our fox terrier, Hershey ♥️ would be in good hands. Melissa is kind, caring, responsible and sends daily pictures with updates. She has a beautiful fenced in yard. I highly recommend Melissa♥️”

“William was great he took care of our baby and took him to the beach and to the park and dealt with him howling and stuff . Really appreciate everything would highly recommend. William took our booking last minute due to moving situations which helped us so much ! Provided us with pictures and everything. Our dog is not the easiest to deal with but he managed to take care of him !”

“Absolutely marvelous! Ashley was very bubbly and loving towards Sugar and Trinket and treated them like family while they stayed ❤️ Also sent lots of pictures and kept us updated each night! 100% will book again!”

“Fernanda took wonderful care of both of our dogs in her home. They were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when I picked them up. She communicated consistently throughout their stay, which gave me great peace of mind, and she was extremely dependable from start to finish. I would absolutely trust her with our dogs again and highly recommend her to others.”

“Beth was terrific with my little girl! My dog is elderly, and she saw how concerned I was leaving her alone, so she was right on the ball and texted me how she was doing and even sent videos so I could see her. I definitely will ask her again to watch my dog when/if we ever take another little trip.”

“Sarah was wonderful. Walter can be anxious and he seemed to do just fine, on short notice too! Sarah was communicative and flexible. I appreciated the short notice availability.”

“Gillian was great with our 2 dogs; one of which had special needs. I'm pretty sure they would have moved in with her. We had family medical issues and she kept the girls an extra night for us. We will definitely use her again! Lovely person.”

“We’ve tried several dog sitters and are so happy we found Kaylene! We felt we made the right decision immediately. Our dog was well cared for with lots of love and hugs. Will rebook again!”

“This was a fantastic experience for me and my puppy. On the meet and greet Karen and Ray were so welcoming and pleasant. Her knowledge of animals and attention to Kobe was over the top that I was literally blown away. While out of town Karen sent oddles of pics and updates in Kobe’s time with them. I was starting to think if I actually was taking better care of him myself ?. Upon our return Karen debriefed me on all of Kobe’s time with them. Also she gave me valuable information with her experience on some things that I could use down the line. I’m appreciate the love and over the top care Karen and Ray provided my little buddy. I’m forever grateful and thankful!!!❤️”

“Selena went above and beyond while caring for my dog during Christmas break. Communication was excellent, I received regular updates and photos, and it was clear my dog was treated like part of the family. When I picked her up, she was relaxed, happy, and well cared for. Finding someone you trust during the holidays is priceless, and I absolutely found that here. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Luna was so happy during her stay. I could tell by her demeanor when I picked her up that she was comfortable. I will definitely trust Luna with them again without a doubt.”

Whether you have a senior or special needs fur baby, one with a lot of extra energy or if you'd just like your fur-kid to have some extra attention while you're at work or away, I'm open to whatever their needs are and taking care of them. I am self employed so I make my own schedule. Therefore I'm available to work around daily walks, play times, feedings or whatever is needed. I am open to doing whatever you recommend when staying in your home. I find it's easier on them when very little changes while you're gone, so I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible.
About: Not just have I grown up around animals of all kinds but I have taken care of several friends and families pets to ensure their well being while the owners were away. I currently am not limited to hours to come to care of your furry babies! I’m willing to work around most people’s needs within almost any hours!. I prefer to be able to go to your house to provide any care you’re seeing fit. Such as visiting your pet/animals keeping them active with play time, keep them outside as much as possible for exercise/potty time. I can make sure they are fed/watered. Just providing that time they need to get through the time you’re away.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
