About: -I have experience at 2 different daycare/boarding facilities in Monmouth County -I previously worked as a vet tech at Two Rivers Animal Hospital -I am a huge animal lover who’s always understood pets better than humans I am free whenever, but I will be starting HVAC school in September. Starting then, I will only be available at nights and the weekends. When offering services at your home, I am flexible to provide whatever kind of care you need. Treats, walks, potty breaks, water, crating, etc. 🐶

“JoEllen is a breath of fresh air to me and my furry baby! Over the years, I have had 4 German Shepherds with a busy business travel schedule. I usually get very little sleep while traveling away from my furry babies. JoEllen’s photos and updates using the Rover App made it possible for me to have a well rested travel experience. I even slept on the airplane which is difficult for me. JoEllen gives precise details of my dog’s bodily functions AND personality! She came to know my dog as if she’s known her for years! She celebrated the little things that I celebrate like... when my German Shepherd eats breakfast! That’s a big deal! ? I highly recommend JoEllen as a pet sitter and pray she’s available for me when I need her because she is truly an animal lover and cares deeply about her role in their lives. ?”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 4 years, starting with my own three pups, each with their own personalities, quirks, and care needs. From playful high energy walks to administering medication and calming anxious dogs during storms, I’ve handled just about everything. In addition to my own pets, I’ve also helped friends, family, and neighbors with their dogs whether it’s drop in visits, daily walks, or overnight stays. I treat every dog like they’re part of the family, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m familiar with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m always happy to follow any special instructions to keep your pet’s routine just right. Currently working full time, however I do have a flexible schedule to accommodate scheduling walks or drop ins. Available most nights and can be available during the day scheduled in advance. I currently have 2 larger dogs and a small senior dog. I have had these dogs since puppies and have plenty of experience with high energy pups, slowing down seniors, and everything in between.

About: I have experience training and caring for dogs and cats. I Specialize in dogs with hearing issues/ deafness. Both of my dogs are graduates of multiple behavioral and obedience classes resulting in our therapy certifications. We visit a multitude of schools, hospitals and other wellness centers. All volunteer work done by my companions and myself is strictly a passion and non profit. I was inspired by a visitation to my grandfather by a golden retriever, when my grandfather was in the hospital for open heart surgery. Seeing my grandfathers reaction to a dog visitation while he was in the hospital was a monumental moment for me that further inspired my passion and drive to work with dogs. I currently work early mornings for a government agency as an officer which gives me a lot of available free time at off times of the day and week. Making me readily available to care for your pets . A fenced yard is a must. My dogs are trained and raised to be curious and outgoing, thus a fence is needed. Although my dogs don’t need a leash, I find it’s necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldn’t generally allow. It’s important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!

About: I have had/ taken care of pets my whole life. I have two small children and I want to show them the joy and love of having a pet in the house while they are still young, but our travel schedule makes a full time fur baby difficult right now. So can we borrow yours? I recently lost my 13 year old diabetic cat that was insulin dependent so I am comfortable administering medications. I am home all day. I work very part time from home and my children (2 and 4) are present in the home with my constant supervision. I have time to walk and love and get to know your pet. Although I do not have a fence at the moment, I am very comfortable walking a dog on the leash or taking them for a run at the local park. I have small children so safety measures have been met in our home. I ask that your pet be calm enough to deal with the little ones.

“Allison has been so amazing with Gummy! He is so much calmer at the end of the day, after having played with her. When I was worried about Gummy in the morning, Allison was super responsive and offered to see him early to check on him. Such a help!”

“We are really happy to have chosen Samantha as our pet sitter! She is very kind and calm natured. She gave Toby his medicine daily while we were away and that allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing we have someone we can depend on to care for him! We are so grateful!”

I’m very active so if your pets need exercise, I’m your girl! My cat is the king of my home and I believe all animals deserve to be treated with love and care so they feel comforted and happy. I know how it feels being away and someone else watching my pets so I always make sure to send updates and photos of the happy animals to make sure you and your pet are satisfied!
