About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have hands on experience with all kinds, from small attached lap dogs to giant breeds. I currently help care for two dogs at home, including one with food aggression who requires separate feeding. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, administering care, and giving pets the attention and exercise they need. Your furry family member will be in good hands! I currently work at Target on an on-demand schedule, which gives me flexibility with pet care. My availability can vary week to week, but I’m happy to communicate my schedule in advance and work with owners to find times that fit. I’m available for walks, drop in visits, and boarding when my schedule allows, including weekends and many weekdays. My priority is making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines, and I’m happy to follow feeding, medication, walking, crate, and other care instructions. I live in an apartment without a yard, but pets staying with me will be taken outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and fresh air. I can also stop by a client’s home before or after a Target shift when arranged ahead of time. I’ll treat your home and pet with respect, provide regular updates, and give your pet plenty of attention and affection. 🐾💕

About: I have always had pets growing up when I was younger and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is caring for my own pets and caring for family, friends and I also have volunteered at shelters as well. My husband and I only have one dog. She is a GoldenDoodle/Labradoodle but we get her cut like a standard doodle and she is our world. I love training/exercising with her everyday and she pushes me to be the best that I can be. With our fur baby she gets a long walk in the morning, breakfast and lots of lovings. I do work a full time job in healthcare during the week Monday- Friday 8:00-4:30pm but I’m fully open on weekends. When I come home she gets a long walk, lots of play time outside, dinner and after dinner we take a long walk. I’m very cautious in all of my surroundings. Making sure every dog is securely leashed and properly walked or if you do have a fence I will follow any rules that abide.

I have 4+ years of working in animal care from working in shelters, as a veterinary assistant, and have cared for my neighbor's pets when needed. About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. Being as passionate as I am about animals, those studies were well retained, and while I don't have professional experience, the knowledge gained from doing it on my own with 9 different dogs over my lifetime have graced me with at the very least, an in depth knowledge of all different stages of dog ownership. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
