About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! Suffice it to say they are spoiled beyond belief. As a recent graduate, I am taking time off from school and full-time work, so my schedule is very open and flexible (especially afternoons). I am usually available for dog walking duties anytime from 7:30 AM-10 AM or in the evenings, and I can make stops to take care of dogs/cats anytime during the day. If house-sitting is required, details will need to be arranged prior to the stay. While I am newer to Rover, I have tons of pet care experience and believe each pet (even the troublemaker) deserves top-tier care and companionship while their humans aren’t home. Aside from watching others’ animals, I own a few myself. I take the dogs on daily walks, feed them twice daily, and clean the cat litter box daily. Overall, I have experience walking/handling small and large—sometimes rowdy—dogs, administering oral medication, cleaning out litter boxes, playing with pets, and daily feeds. Depending on the job and the dog/cat I am responsible for, I am willing to care for your animal in a way that best fits their needs as you see fit.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pet while they are away. Have always always been a dog person. Now have two of my own☺️. I'm a local mom looking to earn some extra income doing something I actually enjoy. If I'm watching your pet, they're not just getting fed and let outside. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up with an orange tabby cat who taught me the basics of daily pet care from a young age. In high school, my family adopted a snorkie, and I’ve helped care for him for the past 12 years—everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming and giving medications. I’ve also had my own cat for the past seven years, and through his renal issues I’ve become very familiar with the early signs of urinary blockages, bladder stones, and the importance of special diet management. Because of this, I’m extremely attentive to subtle behavior changes and comfortable supporting pets with chronic or sensitive medical needs. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. I am a medical student who spends several hours a day studying, making my schedule perfect for house sitting and using study breaks to take dogs on walks. I have class every week day from 8-12 so I can do anytime after that. Unfortunately, I am unable to do Thursdays due to long lecture and lab times. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like my own. I’m really big on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent so your pet can settle in and feel comfortable. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and any little changes—especially since I’m used to managing my own cat’s medical needs. I’m super reliable and I always follow instructions exactly how you give them. You’ll get plenty of updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by cats and dogs, both my own and others and have an intense passion for caring for animals the right way! I have basic care skills, but can ensure diligence, active and engaging time spent with your animals, timely care, and commitment to following care guidelines to a T. I know what it’s like to leave your animals in the care of someone else. My personal pet sitters are accustomed to abnormally and intensely detailed printed guidelines with care instructions for my animals, so regardless of how detailed your care instructions are, I have the aptitude to follow them in their entirety plus more to the best of my abilities! I am a medical student in my first year, so I do have the ability to have more control of my schedule. I will continually update my time availability to be accurate weekly. I will not commit something that I cannot guarantee availability for! I will only be able to give care in your home due to living in an apartment complex and having animals of my own. But in caring for my own animals, I am quite neurotic in how detailed and specifically I care for them. I make sure my animals have daily mental and exercise stimulation through playing with toys, walking, and engagement with me and each other. I am adamant about giving my animals affection, and provide them meals in a timely and measured way. I brush all of my animals teeth daily, walk my dogs daily, and clean my cats litter box at least twice a day. I am very attuned to subtleties and changes in my animals behavior to ensure that they are in good health! I want to give my animals the best life and care possible just as I will do for your animals!

About: I will look at your pet as my own and care for them likewise. I daily water, feed, and groom them also. They are my companions. I am available most days and holidays. I will say specifically when I am not available though. But most of the time I am available. My dogs are created at night and during the day except for one that has full run of the house. I feed and water them daily, making sure they have fresh water daily. They get along with my cats and each other mostly.

About: Animals are a valuable part of a community. I have always had a strong desire to assist in their happiness on this earth! Since I was a child, I have always had animals. It is apart of my nature to love and care for them. I also work at a Veterinary Hospital where I engage with various pets every day. This allows me to have a unique set of skills and knowledge that gives your pet the care that they deserve! I work at a Veterinary Hospital M-F from 7:30am-6pm. Depending on your location, I am happy to assist your pet in the mornings or evenings as needed. There is also an opportunity to assist during the lunch hours, in certain cases. Over the weekends, I am flexible and always open to negotiating times that work well for you and your pet(s). My location is in the midst of the beautiful and safe College Hill neighborhood. I am happy to assist your pet in my area or travel to yours depending on their comfort.
