About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! Suffice it to say they are spoiled beyond belief. As a recent graduate, I am taking time off from school and full-time work, so my schedule is very open and flexible (especially afternoons). I am usually available for dog walking duties anytime from 7:30 AM-10 AM or in the evenings, and I can make stops to take care of dogs/cats anytime during the day. If house-sitting is required, details will need to be arranged prior to the stay. While I am newer to Rover, I have tons of pet care experience and believe each pet (even the troublemaker) deserves top-tier care and companionship while their humans aren’t home. Aside from watching others’ animals, I own a few myself. I take the dogs on daily walks, feed them twice daily, and clean the cat litter box daily. Overall, I have experience walking/handling small and large—sometimes rowdy—dogs, administering oral medication, cleaning out litter boxes, playing with pets, and daily feeds. Depending on the job and the dog/cat I am responsible for, I am willing to care for your animal in a way that best fits their needs as you see fit.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I have 30+years of experience with many kinds of animals. I have personally owned: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas, horses and a goat, pig and miniature donkey! Love my furry and feathered friends! I am currently very flexible and available throughout the week. I am also available on holidays. I am look forward to meeting your beloved pet! About: I will look at your pet as my own and care for them likewise. I daily water, feed, and groom them also. They are my companions. I am available most days and holidays. I will say specifically when I am not available though. But most of the time I am available. My dogs are created at night and during the day except for one that has full run of the house. I feed and water them daily, making sure they have fresh water daily. They get along with my cats and each other mostly.

I also have a resident dog and cat, so I prefer guests who are respectful of other dogs’ space and social cues. About: I have a very natural connection with most animals, and I am easily won over by them! I started caring for 3 senior dogs when I was finishing my undergraduate degree, and helping care for them was so fulfilling. I still keep in contact with their owner! I am comfortable doing feedings, going out on walks, and just hanging out with them if that’s what your pet needs. I am reliable, kind, and patient with all clients and their pets. I can’t wait to meet your furry family! I am currently working remote, so I am available throughout the day to pop over and check on your pets! I’m happy to swing by and take them for a quick walk morning, lunchtime, or even early evening if need be. Weekends are flexible.
