About: We both grew up with dogs and have always loved them. We are proud owners of 2 rescue dogs and love socializing our pups with new dogs and new experiences. Rachel previously volunteer trained service dogs for 4 Paws for Ability. When your pup stays with us, we will spend time playing, walking, running, visiting a local dog park, or cuddling on the couch. We use positive reinforcement to train dogs and correct behavioral issues. We are happy to provide baths if the dog gets dirty with us. Dogs must be up to date on shots. We are mostly available on weekends, since Rachel works as a school counselor during the week and Nick works in finance. We hope you choose us to watch over your precious pups!

About: I grew up with dogs of all ages, and have a special place in my heart for senior dogs! I discovered my love for cats later in life and have enjoyed getting to know how to interact with them. I work from home, and enjoy getting out of the house to visit and take walks. I can do any time of day as well! Whether you have a fenced in yard, a dog who loves adventure, or a major couch potato, I can adjust to your pets environment and give them lots of love.

About: Animals have always liked me, even the ones that "don't like people" have magically liked me and I take that as the highest compliment! I've taken care of a wide variety of pets my whole life, so I'd feel comfortable caring for your furry, scaled or feathered friends like they were my own! My day job is taking care of people as a Physician, so I promise to be kind, trustworthy, loving and patient with your fur babies so they get the care they deserve while you're away. I work remotely with plenty of flexibility in my schedule for drop-in visits or walks in the Fairfield area so your pets can be comfortable and well taken care of while you're away. I am happy to follow any specific instructions for your pets to make sure they have exactly what they need to thrive. Beware, I have been known to give too much love, attention and treats to cute pets...so yours may be spoiled if you choose me to take care of them. I will do whatever is needed for your fur babies while you're away. Whether it's walks, playtime, meals, cuddles or trips to the park, I'll make sure they are well taken care of. I will make sure your home is left exactly the way I find it and will treat your space with respect while I'm there.

About: Doggies have been a fascination of mine for as long as I can remember. You could say I’m Dogs’ Best Friend! I’ve cared for pups as small as Yorkies and as big as Golden-doodles. Not only do I love dogs, I’ve been told that all dogs love me! Currently, I’m a Stay-at-Home Fur Mama. I own an in-house Wedding Planning Business so I have a plethora of time during the 9-5 to devote to your babies! We have a fenced in yard and a sweet 15-month doggo that loves making friends! Our neighborhood is perfect for walking our baby. I’d love to walk your dog in your neighborhood, at a park, or wherever your preference may be.

About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember. I’ve just recently introduced a cat into our dog family and it’s been such a pleasure caring for my babies. I would love to do the same for someone else! I am available at the moment to work any day weekday and weekend, I currently have no restrictions to when I can not do it. I enjoy doing enrichment activities with the animals and playing with them to stimulate their mind. I also like to cuddle with my dogs whenever they want chill time.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, my family has always had 4-7 large dogs at a time, so I’m very comfortable with them. I’ve had experience with dogs from day-old puppies, to blind dogs, to senior dogs who need help walking. I am currently in classes but I am available to stay overnight to take care of animals, and make frequent visits as needed. My primary availability is on the weekends as I have class during the week. I am not able to take pets into my home, but I am willing to accommodate whatever routines you have with your pet in your home! I can feed, walk, play with, or provide general care for your pet.

About: My family loves animals and we would love to take in your pet for the day! We have a dog park and love to go on walks during the evening. Cats are also welcome as we love to snuggle them ❤️. Your pets will be safe and loved in our care and I am able to communicate with you over phone as much as you need during their stay. We currently just moved from an apartment to a townhome so we have a bit more space now for the animals to lounge around and play! I’m a full time at home mom! Taking care of animals makes me so happy. I always hoped to go into Veterinary medicine one day. Right now I have all the free time in the world to take care of your pets when needed ❤️ Pets will be able to run and play in our home. Feeding will depend on how often you need me to feed. Potty breaks often. Dog park on days with nice weather or walks through the trails in our neighborhood!

About: I’ve been lucky to take care of dogs my whole life. I currently have some time off of work, and would love to spend some of that time giving some love, care, and exercise to your pets! I have two dogs that I love at home (both named Hank LOL), but am available any time during the day. In our home, our dogs are our world! I would treat yours just the same. We would discuss what your pet needs (exercise, snuggles, medication, companionship, all of the above).

About: I have always been around various breeds of dogs from different types of training. I was always the one to jump up when it came time to feed/walk/bathe/pill/groom the dogs around my family and the neighborhood. I have always figured out how to comfort and help the anxious or reactive dogs, my goal was and is to just help these animals exist as happily, heathy, and peacefully as possible. I’ve fosterf puppies, fostered and retrained aggressive adolescents, and nurtured seniors. They give true unconditional love, I only wish to return it. I have a pretty open schedule currently, so I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet gets the most fulfilling experience with my time with them. Although I cannot watch your dog at my own home, I am willing to monitor your dog through the entire visit to ensure they do not cause damage at your home or to themselves. I know plenty of ways to stimulate your pet inside and outside.

About: For my entire life, I have grown up with a dog in my family home. I have experienced first hand how to care for a 2 month old puppy and a 13 year old senior dog. Since the age of 16, I have also watched family friends dogs, either doing overnight stays or routinely check-ins with the dogs. As a graduate student, I have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On those days, your pup may be home for a few hours while I’m in class, but I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks before I leave and as soon as I return. Outside of my class schedule, I have a flexible routine and spend most of my time at home, so I’ll be able to provide lots of companionship, playtime, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow all of your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other special care your pet needs. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I love cleaning and doing daily chores, so that will never be a problem for me! I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. My priority is making sure both you and your pet have peace of mind.

“I can’t sing Sandy’s praises enough, but I’m going to try because she’s the best! Finding a small pet sitter is already difficult when websites and apps like these are only set up for cats and dogs, and I was searching last minute. I was in a complete panic, my friend had informed me that while the air bnb she booked accommodated dogs, they would not allow rodents, only a couple weeks before we planned to leave. I have two elderly guinea pigs with daily care needs. I had scrambled to book someone who then flaked on me, so I was left desperate to find another sitter with even shorter notice. Did I mention this was for a holiday weekend too? It was a recipe for disaster, so I can’t believe my luck that I found Sandy. She responded literally within the minute I sent the request. We planned to meet right after that, and when we met, even though I was only supposed to give her a tour, some instructions, and the keys— we genuinely talked for about 2 hours. She told me all about the street cats she has homed, the bunnies she’s cared for despite her hay allergies, and pet my dog while we chatted. She is the nicest and funniest person. We were fast friends! Relief just washed over me, she had earned my complete trust, I felt so confident leaving my pets in her hands. And she did an incredible job, so friendly, so attentive. She truly went above and beyond: I swear my house is cleaner than when I left, she brought in my mail, she left me notes, she cut up fresh vegetables for my guinea pigs when I ran out, and she sent daily pictures of my guinea girls. She gave me the biggest peace of mind that my little ladies were being well cared for. I can not stress how much I love this girl, she’s a gem. Sandy is the definition of an animal lover, she has the biggest heart and strongest passion. Thank you for everything, Sandy! Buggs and Winnie squeak their thanks too!”
