“We had Sarah come for two 30 minute visits Thanksgiving so we could participate in the family fun. We have a 1.5 year old very active Labradoodle so we needed someone who would play with and buddy up to Lindy. This was the first time having Sarah watch and check on our girls. We knew after the initial meet and greet we had picked a winner since she has a large dog of her own and a bubbly personality. The visit went great. Sarah was prompt on the visiting times and asked many questions during the first visit to make sure we were happy with the job she was providing. From the pictures we got they had a fun time playing ball in the yard together ! Glad we have someone close and flexible that can help as a surrogate. We will use her services again before Christmas and are conifers our babies will be in loving hands.”

About: I have a little over 3 years of experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs. They have entrusted me in walking their furbabies when they are unable to, feed and bathe them while they are away, and watch them for extended periods of time. I am currently available Monday-Friday after 4 pm to walk your dogs, or check in on them and feed them if you are away. Weekends I have an open Availability. And for extended stays I am available whenever. I do have a full time job however, I work 10 mins up the road and can check in on the dogs while on break. I live in a gated community and we have plenty of outdoor space to walk your dogs or let them out for some freedom. I do have a 7 yr old son who loves to play and entertain dogs.& I have a cage available if need be however they are free to roam the house.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, my family has always had 4-7 large dogs at a time, so I’m very comfortable with them. I’ve had experience with dogs from day-old puppies, to blind dogs, to senior dogs who need help walking. I am currently in classes but I am available to stay overnight to take care of animals, and make frequent visits as needed. My primary availability is on the weekends as I have class during the week. I am not able to take pets into my home, but I am willing to accommodate whatever routines you have with your pet in your home! I can feed, walk, play with, or provide general care for your pet.

About: Ive been around pets my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, litter box care, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I always follow the owners instructions closely and make sure pets feel safe abs comfortable while they're in my care I currently work part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays Thursdays, and Saturdays, ( sometimes they don’t schedule me all days) and I attend college during the week. My school schedule is fairly flexible with no more than two classes per day, usually lasting around 2 hours each. This gives me plenty of time between classes and work to care for pets, provide walks, drop in visits, and spend time with pets staying with me. I'm also available for boarding and overnight care. On weekdays, drop-off and pickup times may need to be arranged around my class schedule, but I'm happy to work with owners to find a time that works for both of us. My days off from work are Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, so I have even more flexibility on those days. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, meals, and bathroom breaks based on their normal routine. I keep a close eye on them and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for while there away from home. In a clients home, I follow the owners instructions closely and try to keep the pets routine as normal as possible. I'm respectful of the home, keep things clean, and make sure the pet gets the care, attention, walks, feeding, and companionship they need. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 10 years, mostly my own (now senior) dogs. I also had a dog who was special needs (partially blind and deaf), and unfortunately passed 3 years ago. I am always open to taking care of your pets! I’m normally the most free every day but Wednesday and do not mind spending the night with your pets! I cannot currently house pets in my own home, but I’m always free to stay at your home! I drive, so only staying for a few hours at a time is also okay. Since I have senior dogs, they often “forget” they went outside, so frequent potty breaks (including in the night) is a must. I also give my dogs medication, so if your pup needs oral medication, I am 100% okay with that.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
